Applebloom with training weights

Applebloom is about to begin an extensive training program as part of her instruction to become Luna's personal assistant. This training will be in both the physical world and the dream realm. This combined with the little filly going through another growth spurt means the littlest of the Apple family is going to start putting on some serious muscle for her age.
This scene shows her wearing metal training weights on her legs and neck as she does her exercises. She will get them from Zecora and in the waking world they will become as much a part of her daily wardrobe as her red bow. The weights are made of a somewhat soft but springy bronze that can be spread apart and will then snap back to close. In much the same way as a Celtic torcs or a Greek Hoplite's bronze greaves do. She can vary the number weights based on what training or work she is performing. This is the full set.

2016-08-11 18:49:01 +0000 UTCLooks like a kick coming back. Curl up, plant front hooves and explode back with rear hooves. Aim can vary from knees to groin to chest. She will have to work her way up to Zecora's high kick. I am now cross fit training using a weight vest and leg weights so I know how she will feel at the end of a grueling workout.
