Wolf WIP (update)
Added 2024-08-16 23:58:58 +0000 UTCMore progress on the wolf piece! Added in a loose background, and also playing around with some subtle rim lighting. I also lengthened the canvas a bit to make room for a bit more of the legs, and I'll probably gonna give him a nice loincloth as well πΊβ¨
*Edit - Did more work, so adding another progress shot π
*Edit - More progress on this piece. Changed up the background to have a more solid composition. Still loose, but an environment is taking shape. I changed the dimensions back to what they were initially. I felt that the new ones didn't give the character enough wiggle room, and it gave a sort of claustrophobic feeling. Besides the refining of the anatomy, I also changed the position of his right hand (he's gonna be holding a staff). Because of the setting and gentle looking nature of the character, I'm going in a more "druidic" direction with him, so that'll play into what he's wearing later on as well!.
Still gonna refine his body a bit more going forwards. I'm thinking of softening the muscles just a bit in some areas, and I gotta add in fur textures, but overall the piece seems to be is going well! π
