"Even with a Vision, you're still short on money?" Lu Shiyuan thought of the astrologer at Liyue Port who worked at a fish stall.

"I don't have a Vision. My power comes from the Tsaritsa’s blessing," the Fatui Agent replied. He seemed drained from using his abilities earlier, so he wasn’t eager to fight again. "As for making money, it’s part of my job."

"Is that so? Seems like the Tsaritsa is pretty impressive. Maybe she could help..." Lu Shiyuan nodded while gripping the Staff of Homa.

"Help you with what?"

Lu Shiyuan deliberately spoke slowly, waiting for the Fatui Agent to focus on his words. Suddenly, he swung his spear at the man's head. "...me get a recommendation?"

"I knew you weren’t being honest," the Fatui Agent smirked, easily dodging to the side, as if he had expected the move.

Lu Shiyuan grinned back, pointing toward the other side. "Thanks for spending time answering my questions... remember the spear I threw during your high-speed attacks?"

"What?" The Fatui Agent blinked, turning to look behind him. What he saw made his expression darken.

Lu Qianzhi had retrieved the seemingly misplaced iron-tipped spear and was now gripping it firmly. With a strong throw, she embedded it into the ground between them, and then shouted in a low voice:

"Thousandfold Weight!"

Boom!

In an instant, an invisible pressure radiated from the spear, covering a ten-meter radius around it. Everything except for Lu Shiyuan was felt the weight of an overwhelming force, including the Fatui Agent.

Feeling the weight make his movements sluggish, the Fatui Agent’s face turned grim, though he remained composed. "I remember now... that girl’s ability has a time limit, doesn’t it? One minute, if I recall correctly."

He glanced at Lu Shiyuan with disdain. "So, even if I’m slowed down, how do you expect to defeat me with that broken body of yours in just one minute?"

But before he could finish, Lu Shiyuan's spear was already hurtling toward him.

Clang!

The Fatui Agent hurriedly raised his blade to block, but the impact left his arm trembling from the force. He was shocked.

"How are you still this strong? You’re badly injured!" he exclaimed, incredulous.

Lu Shiyuan straightened his back, gritting his teeth against the pain radiating from his wounds, and sneered. "Because I’m wielding the Staff of Homa, you fool! I went through all that trouble to get this spear so I could fight at full strength even when I’m injured!"

Without hesitation, Lu Shiyuan charged forward, spear in hand, cutting off all possible escape routes for his enemy.

"You madman!" the Fatui Agent cursed, forced to meet each of Lu Shiyuan’s heavy strikes with his dagger. However, with his movements slowed by the gravitational field, and his strength diminished, he found himself barely able to keep up. He was slowly being pushed back, step by step, toward the cliff’s edge.

Realizing the danger, the Fatui Agent’s face darkened further. If this continued, he would be pushed off the cliff to his death. He knew he couldn’t let that happen.

With desperation fueling him, the Fatui Agent dug his heels into the ground, halting his retreat despite the risk of being stabbed. He understood that it was now or never—time to risk everything.

"I’ll kill you first!" he growled, eyes flashing with malice. His dagger danced through the air, striking with ferocious speed despite his sluggish movements. Each slash forced the Staff of Homa off course, allowing him to press forward.

But his reckless assault came at a cost. Deep wounds appeared on his body as Lu Shiyuan’s spear found its mark repeatedly. Both men were now grievously injured, and each looked as bad as the other.

"Life for life, huh?" Lu Shiyuan muttered, his resolve hardening. "Let’s see who breaks first!"

With a determined snarl, Lu Shiyuan abandoned defense entirely and threw everything into his attacks.

In mere seconds, the battlefield became a mess of blood and clashing steel. The ferocity of their battle left both men soaked in blood, their bodies resembling mangled rags.

But the fight couldn’t last forever. As their injuries worsened, the Fatui Agent’s movements grew more sluggish, and he struggled to defend even his vital points.

"It's over!" Lu Shiyuan thought, feeling victory within reach. But in that moment, a fatal mistake was made. He hadn’t noticed how close the Agent Fatui had gotten to him.

"I’ll be the one to win!" the Fatui Agent roared, suddenly closing the gap. His hand surged with fiery elemental energy, the heat radiating like an erupting volcano. In just a moment, he would unleash it right into Lu Shiyuan’s face.

The searing fire energy was so intense that Lu Shiyuan could feel his skin burning before the attack even landed. His body froze.

"He still has elemental powers", Lu Shiyuan realized with growing dread. "Even if I’ve won the physical fight, I can’t defend against this."

"This hit... I can’t stop it." In that split second, a deep sense of despair washed over him.

But it was quickly drowned out by a powerful surge of defiance.

I refuse to lose!

He knew it was too late to change the outcome. All he could do now was go all-in, hoping for the slimmest chance at survival.

With all the strength he could muster, he swung his spear toward the Fatui Agent’s flaming hand, but the man blocked it with his dagger.

Without hesitation, Lu Shiyuan grabbed the enemy’s wrist with his free hand, trying to wrench it aside. The Fatui Agent snarled, using all his strength to keep his wrist steady, aiming the deadly fire toward Lu Shiyuan’s face.

"It’s no use..." Lu Shiyuan thought, letting out a weary sigh. His gaze hardened with resolve. "If this is my end, I’ll at least take him down with me!"

"I’ll protect Qianzhi, no matter the cost!" Lu Shiyuan's mind echoed with his final, desperate vow. He lunged forward, using all his remaining strength to push the Fatui Agent backwards toward the cliff. The ground beneath the Fatui Agent’s feet buckled as he was dragged helplessly toward the edge.

"You maniac!" the Fatui Agent screamed, trying and failing to free himself as they drew closer to the precipice.

Desperate, the Fatui Agent gathered more fire energy, hoping to incinerate Lu Shiyuan before he could push him over.

"I don’t care if I die... I’ll protect Qianzhi!" Lu Shiyuan's eyes burned with determination. He had blocked out everything except the thought of saving his sister.

But what he didn’t realize was that, at that very moment, faint arcs of lightning began to flicker across his body.
