The Weapon Master Shall Never Die Bare-Handed in Genshin Impact [100]

Lumine spoke cheerfully to Razor.

“So, we’re officially friends now, right? We’ve known each other for quite some time, and we even got to pet that big fluffy wolf together.”

She gave him a thumbs-up.

“We’re friends now! And friends are supposed to help each other, don’t you think?”

“So don’t worry, Razor—I’ll help you with anything you need!” Lumine reassured him with confidence.

“And you know what, Razor? You really are a good kid. Even when that guy said such awful things to you, you didn’t try to hurt him.”

She reached out and gently patted Razor’s head, her touch soft and comforting.

“That’s a wonderful quality. You’re just like Amber—you’re both such good kids!”

“Hmm…”

Razor felt an unfamiliar sensation as Lumine’s hand ruffled his hair. It was… strange, but not unpleasant.

Light. Gentle.

“Good boy, good boy!” Lumine cooed, stroking Razor’s soft hair.
It was unexpectedly pleasant—much softer and fluffier than wolf fur, with a clean texture despite its wild appearance.

Not bad at all, Lumine thought. Almost as good as the Wolf King’s fur.

“Honorary Knight Sister!”

Lumine felt a tug on her dress. She looked down to see Klee pulling at her skirt with both hands.

“What’s up, Klee?” Lumine asked, her face instantly lighting up with a bright smile.

“Are you Razor’s friend now?” Klee’s eyes sparkled with hope.

“Does that mean you’re friends with Klee too?”

Her innocent expression, paired with her wide, hopeful eyes, was impossibly adorable.

“Of course we’re friends now!” Lumine declared without hesitation.

“In fact, we’re already really great friends!”

“Hey! Traveler! You could’ve paused for a second before answering!” Paimon shouted, hands on her hips.

But Lumine ignored Paimon, picking Klee up in her arms and hugging her tightly.

“Why would I hesitate? Klee’s so adorable! Anyone who doesn’t want to be Klee’s friend is the weird one!”

“Paimon is adorable too!” Paimon protested, stomping her tiny feet in the air indignantly.

Lumine tilted her head, blinking at the floating companion.

“But Paimon, you’re already my partner, aren’t you?”

“Huh?”

Paimon froze, caught off guard by the remark.

“Oh… that’s true… I’m already your partner.”

“And you’re also the best guide I’ve ever met!” Lumine continued, showering Paimon with praise.

It wasn’t an exaggeration—Paimon was the only guide Lumine had in Teyvat.

“Well, duh! Of course I am!” Paimon puffed out her chest with pride.

“I’m the best guide in all of Teyvat!”

“And the best emergency food!”

“Exactly—wait, no! Paimon’s not food!” Paimon shrieked, stomping her feet again as Lumine teased her effortlessly.

The lighthearted banter lifted the mood, filling the air with laughter. Even Klee, nestled in Lumine’s arms, giggled at the exchange.

Meanwhile, Lumine turned to Razor, noticing his distant expression.

“Razor? Razor?” Lumine waved a hand in front of his face.

“What are you thinking about?”

“Me?” Razor snapped out of his thoughts and shook his head.

“Nothing.”

“Really?” Lumine tilted her head but didn’t press further.

Instead, she let out a dramatic sigh.

“Ugh… That big fluffy wolf earlier—its fur was amazing! I wish I’d petted it just a little longer… Who knows if we’ll ever get another chance?”

“Yeah! Klee loved petting the big fluffy wolf too!” Klee chimed in enthusiastically, nodding vigorously.

“Uncle Jax didn’t lie—there really was a big fluffy wolf!”

“I wish we could pet it again someday…” Lumine murmured wistfully.

In her and Klee’s minds, the title Wolf King or Andrius had been entirely replaced by Big Fluffy Wolf.

At that moment, the sound of Jia Changjiang’s approaching footsteps caught their attention.

“Handled it!” Jia Changjiang said as he rejoined the group, a bright smile on his face.

"Don’t worry about that shady merchant. I’ve taken care of the problem.”

His smile seemed a little too cheerful, especially as he casually wiped specks of blood from his knuckles. He looked like someone who had just finished “cleaning up” in a very literal sense.

“Jax, you didn’t… do anything too extreme, did you?” Amber asked cautiously.

“Relax. He’s fine… at least fine enough to walk out of here on his own.” Jia Changjiang chuckled, pocketing the bloodied handkerchief.

“But trust me, he won’t forget this day anytime soon. And I can guarantee he’ll never dare to come back here again.”

Amber’s eyes narrowed suspiciously. Though Jia Changjiang’s demeanor seemed harmless, something about the way he said it made her uneasy.

But she chose not to press him further.

I’ll just trust him this time… Amber thought, resigning herself.

“Alright, now that everything’s settled, and the crisis is over… Razor.” Jia Changjiang turned to him.

“I’m ready to make your new weapon.”

“Really?” Razor’s eyes lit up with excitement.

“Of course. I’ve been collecting the materials for a while now… Though I might have kept a little bit for myself,” Jia Changjiang admitted with a mischievous grin.

Unbeknownst to the others, his inventory held pristine wolf fur imbued with wind and ice energy, carefully plucked from the Wolf King during their “encounter.” Naturally, the best portions were set aside for his own future use.

“Wait a second!” Lumine interjected, her eyes sparkling. “You know how to forge weapons, Jia Changjiang? You never told me that!”

“You never asked,” he replied nonchalantly. “And besides, I thought you didn’t need a weapon.”

Lumine pouted.

“That’s not true! I’ve been wanting a new weapon for ages! Do you know how embarrassing it was when Kaeya tricked me into thinking Dawn Harbinger was some legendary sword?”

Hearing this, Jia Changjiang couldn’t help but smirk.

“Well… from a certain point of view, Dawn Harbinger is better than what you’re using now…”

“What?!” Lumine exclaimed, indignant.
