Also something i dislike a fair bit is how many of the novels that try to do something like this nearly always give the mc a "Human" form near instantly and always lean into oh i might be monstrous but i am actually a good guy

Like most are oh look they reincarnated into x fic and now have unlimited power scaling or some such, i feel like having it be oh look thy are now in x world but they are stuck as an scp or as sirenhead, or as fiddlesticks or other such things, maybe a method of switching between such beings
