Patreon changes, new content for 2020
Added 2020-01-12 23:19:46 +0000 UTCHey everyone.
So, I am aware that I don't pay too much attention to what goes on here, and from talking with patrons who are on my discord server, the same seems to apply for you. So, in the end, this patreon tends to be a way to send off the drawings within the Art drops once a month, and do any official mention of me being away or so when needed.
Well, not anymore.
In 2020, I'll be aiming for more quality over quantity (but still with some quantity) in a seasonal format, and because of that there will be some changes to the rewards for patreon. Said changes will apply to the patron tiers (for the ones who care), and the changes are as follows:
- The $1 isn't changed
- The $3 tier will be removed/merged with the $5, as the "art drops" will now have far more content. The reward plans are: Recordings of some drawings, possibly commentating over the clip for those who want to learn my process, sneak peeks of current art pieces I'm working on and future projects such as animations or +18 robot comics that will be paid, you guys get it for free.
- The $10 tier will change to a $15 tier and it's name will also change from "engineer" to "sponsor". This is for the ones who want to be generous about helping out my content, the ultimate tier for people who wish to leave their mark on my (non commission) drawings, as a sponsor, brand or general marking name somewhere on the picture (I will choose where all that stuff goes). You will get a special shout out when I upload said pictures on my social medias as well. Obviously you also get everything from the previous tiers.
These changes are to hold more true to how I've been running patreon, but at the same time, offer you lot more rewards and content that I can actually do/promise.
You will be seeing these changes on the patreon page throughout the second half of January.
Also, all rewards from people who got charged this month ($3 and up) will still get their reward/art drop by the end of January, as per usual.

This sounds great, I'm looking forward to these changes.
