I, the Geo Archon Morax with 2.1 Billion Mora, Have Joined a Chat Group [94]

Liyue, the Golden House.

The chaotic sounds of battle reverberated across the skies—flames, gusting winds, towering pillars of rock, and bursts of icy mist wove together to form a tableau of war.

The unusual enemies, dressed as members of the Treasure Hoarders, fought silently against the Millelith.

Some wielded massive hammers, others held staves, and some, with burly physiques, carried peculiar contraptions on their backs that unleashed waves of icy mist and water bubbles.

These Treasure Hoarders, more elite than even the disciplined Millelith, pushed the defenders of the Golden House back with overwhelming force almost immediately upon arrival.

Among these foes, one stood out as especially formidable.

He wore deep violet armor, a starry cloak billowing behind him, and wielded a longsword radiating ominous energy.

With a casual swing of his sword, he could unleash arcs of lightning or torrents of piercing water spears.

Against him, the ordinary Millelith were utterly outmatched.

From the Millelith’s defensive line around the Golden House, frightened murmurs arose:

"Dual elemental powers? That’s impossible!"

"Vision bearers only wield a single element! How can someone use two?"

"This isn’t a normal Vision!"

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!"

Amid their terror, the violet-armored warrior seemed utterly indifferent.

He sighed, almost bored. "Ah… what a tedious battle."

"Enemies incapable of resisting, no clash of life and death, not even a duel between champions. This is nothing but slaughter in a dull war."

Clad in his Foul Legacy transformation, Tartaglia, better known as Childe, raised his dark longsword with mild exasperation.

"Still, it’s for the sake of Her Majesty, the one and only Tsaritsa of Snezhnaya."

With that quiet murmur, he swung his blade downward.

The earth below abruptly transformed into a pale blue ocean.

From the watery expanse rose a colossal, free-spirited narwhal, crafted entirely from Hydro energy.

The massive beast dominated the plaza before the Golden House, its sheer size and presence dwarfing everything around it.

As the narwhal emerged, it sent a powerful surge of water crashing over the Millelith, throwing them to the ground in an instant.

When the enormous creature came crashing down, its immense weight pinned the Millelith beneath it, rendering most unconscious. Some stopped breathing altogether.

"Tch." Tartaglia scoffed, watching the scene.

"They’re so weak they can’t even withstand the power I’ve restrained to its bare minimum. This generation of Millelith is pitiful."

As the narwhal dissolved into a glimmering mist, the plaza before the Golden House lay eerily silent. Around Tartaglia, the disguised Fatui operatives continued battling the Millelith, but none dared approach him directly.

With deliberate steps, Tartaglia strolled into the Golden House.

Pushing open the doors, his eyes fell upon the massive draconic remains of Rex Lapis, the Geo Archon Morax, coiled majestically upon the chamber floor.

What bad luck. I thought I could secure this through subtler means, but it seems brute force was inevitable.

Victory within his grasp, Tartaglia allowed himself a moment to grumble internally.

I had thought the Traveler would be a useful pawn, but the appearance of those Outer Apostles derailed everything.

That so-called "Outer Order" claiming the production method for the [Sigils of Permission] only to vanish without action… that was unexpected too.

Too many miscalculations this time. Deception isn’t my forte—I much prefer a proper fight against a worthy opponent.

Shaking off his thoughts, Tartaglia leapt forward with a single bound, landing atop the remains of the Geo Archon.

With the power of his Delusion coursing through him, he clenched his hand, charging it with Electro energy before plunging it toward the heart of the divine remains.

"What are you doing?"

A clear voice rang out from the doorway.

Tartaglia froze. The empty sensation in his hand filled him with a sudden sense of absurdity.

Withdrawing his hand, he turned to see two figures rushing toward him.

One was Ganyu, the half-human, half-qilin adeptus. The other, of course, was the Traveler.

A manic grin spread across Tartaglia’s face as he watched them approach.

"You’re truly impressive. I can’t believe I let myself get outplayed like this."

"How infuriating!"

BOOM!

Raising his arms, Tartaglia summoned a massive Hydro longbow. Drawing an arrow of pure elemental energy, he shot it skyward.

A moment later, countless water-elemental arrows rained down, blanketing every inch of ground between him and the approaching duo.

"But it seems you’re worthy opponents."

"At least this loss will end with a thrilling battle."

[Trail of the Qilin]

As they ran, Ganyu suddenly surged forward, leaving behind a radiant ice lotus on the ground.

The countless descending Hydro arrows seemed magnetically drawn to the ice lotus, defying gravity as they veered toward it.

Meanwhile, the Traveler channeled her power, summoning a swirling vortex of Anemo energy in her hand.

[Palm Vortex]

With a powerful thrust downward, the wind propelled her into the air.

Switching seamlessly from Anemo to Geo, she infused her blade with the element.

[Wake of Earth]

Rising rock formations materialized in midair, forming barriers that charged toward Tartaglia.

"Not bad!" Tartaglia exclaimed, a flash of excitement in his voice.

The ominous longsword in his hand crackled with Electro energy, splitting apart the rock formations with a single devastating slash.

BOOM!

The barriers shattered, but the shockwaves rippled through the air, dislodging debris that fell around him. Tartaglia staggered slightly, a grunt escaping his lips.

The impact had managed to injure him slightly.

"Now this is getting interesting," he muttered to himself, raising his blade once more.

Without the barriers to block him, his next strike—a wide arc of crackling Electro energy—flew toward the Traveler.

The attack’s speed was nearly impossible to track with the naked eye.

Having just landed, the Traveler barely had time to react as the bolt of lightning closed in.
