I, the Geo Archon Morax with 2.1 Billion Mora, Have Joined a Chat Group [120]

Jujutsu World

"Hey, Itadori, these meatballs are pretty good," Gojo Satoru said through his blindfold, his voice cheerful as he chewed on a dumpling from the hotpot.

"I never thought you’d have a talent for cooking."

Yuji Itadori blinked, slightly surprised. "These are just something my grandpa taught me to make. If you like them, Sensei, I can make more next time."

"No need to go overboard," Gojo replied, leaning back lazily in his chair with his hands behind his head. "No matter how delicious something is, eating it too often gets boring."

He seemed lost in thought for a moment, reminiscing.

"I’ve always known I’m the strongest. Everyone else knows it, too. I used to think being the strongest was something you could never get tired of hearing."

Suddenly, Gojo leaned forward sharply, his face mere inches from Yuji’s. Through his blindfold, his piercing presence felt almost overwhelming.

"But you know, Itadori? Even being the strongest doesn’t solve everything. It can’t control people’s hearts, protect every friend, or dictate one’s fate."

"This world’s higher-ups—hell, even the middle ranks of the jujutsu sorcerers—are full of rot. Sure, I could kill them all, but I don’t have the power to rebuild what’s lost."

"So, I pinned my hopes on the next generation—on people like you. I thought you could grow into sorcerers who’d rival me and help change this broken system."

"That was my plan."

There was an odd lightness in Gojo’s tone, as though he was sharing a secret he’d long kept hidden.

"But then, you gave me a surprise. Your heavenly restriction, that chat group, is something extraordinary—beyond my imagination. It’s like it flung open the doors to an infinite number of worlds. I realized that this isn’t the only world. And I’m not the only strong one."

"More importantly," he continued, "the clash of ideas between different worlds might create something even more incredible than I ever dreamed of."

Gojo leaned back again, a wistful smile on his face.

"If... and I’m just saying if… there’s someone in your chat group strong enough to fundamentally alter a world, could they rebuild ours from the ground up?"

"What?" Yuji’s head tilted in confusion, his forehead creased with question marks. "Sensei, what are you talking about? Be specific. Don’t be cryptic!"

"I’m saying," Gojo clarified, "if someone in that chat group had power on the level of, say, the Christian God—able to create worlds, alter time, and know everything—could they help create a world where curses don’t exist at all?"

Yuji froze, his mind struggling to grasp the enormity of the idea.

Before he could respond, Gojo continued.

"Relying on others isn’t ideal," he admitted, "but what if that ‘other’ is a god who trades in clear terms and fair deals? People often think praying to gods without acting is lazy. But what if there’s a god who truly can grant any wish?"

"Of course," Gojo added with a grin, "this is just a small theory of mine. Based on what you’ve described, your chat group seems split into fighters and everyday types."

"The strongest fighter is apparently a magnetic Western dragon who loves human female programmers, and a Chinese deity who’s willing to reshape the world for his late wife."

"And then there are the everyday types, some of whom live in worlds without curses or sorcery at all."

Gojo’s voice carried a touch of longing.

"There was a time… long ago, when I dreamed of a world like that."

Yuji straightened unconsciously, sensing something different about his usually laid-back teacher.

"And now, Sensei? What’s your dream now?"

"Now?" Gojo smirked. "Now, I still dream of that world—especially after your chat group appeared. It’s a dream I’d abandoned long ago."

"You mean…" Yuji’s eyes widened as realization dawned.

"Itadori," Gojo interrupted, his tone turning serious as he removed his blindfold to reveal his dazzling Six Eyes. He bowed his head slightly, a rare gesture of humility.

"I want to ask you to spend some of your points to use the chat group’s task system. I want to see if this world still has a chance to return to its rightful state."

Yuji stared at his teacher, taken aback by the sincerity in his voice and the unusual vulnerability in his posture.

"I understand, Sensei," Yuji said with a firm nod. "I’ll do it."

"Thank you," Gojo said, his voice unsteady.

For a moment, Yuji thought he saw something glimmering at the corners of Gojo’s usually composed eyes, just before the black blindfold was replaced.

"Thank you, Yuji."

Behind the blindfold, tears glistened in Gojo’s brilliant blue Six Eyes, unseen by the world.

[Keeper of Contracts (Zhongli) has joined the chat.]

[Spider Lady (Reincarnated Girl)]: Hey, hey, everyone! Guess what? Spider-chan has evolved again! From a small spider monster to a small poisonous spider! Now I have venom fangs and venom threads! I can kill multiple poison frogs all on my own. Aren’t I amazing?

[Emilia Is the Cutest (Subaru Natsuki)]: Hearing this, I suddenly feel like all my deaths and rebirths aren’t that bad. I mean, reincarnating as a spider in another world? I’d probably go insane on the spot. Spider-chan, you’re so strong.

[Spider Lady (Reincarnated Girl)]: Aw, shucks. You’re making me blush, Subaru-kun. But seriously, being strong is all I’ve got going for me. Haha! Oh, and I’m good at games too. At least, I think I was. My memory’s a bit fuzzy.

[Emilia Is the Cutest (Subaru Natsuki)]: Okay, someday we’re going to Kyousuke the Siscon’s world to play games. It’s only 2011 there, so a lot of my favorite games don’t exist yet, but I really want to see what Kyousuke’s little sister looks like.

[I Definitely Won’t Date My Sister (Kyousuke Kousaka)]: Stop hyping this up, you morons! Jeez, give me a break!
