Jujutsu World

Satoru Gojo stood amidst the grand setting of the exchange event between the Tokyo and Kyoto Jujutsu schools. For the first time in a long while, he engaged in a meeting with some of the most prominent figures of the Jujutsu world.

“Principal Gakuganji.”

Hands stuffed into his pockets, Satoru Gojo leaned forward slightly, addressing the elderly principal of Kyoto Jujutsu High, who stood supported by his cane. A grin spread across Gojo’s face.

“That’s the gist of it.”

“As the strongest jujutsu sorcerer in Japan—no, in the world—it’s only natural to want to solve the fundamental issues plaguing curses and sorcerers alike.”

“That’s reasonable, don’t you think?”

“Hmph!” The frail-looking old man shot him a sharp glare, a cold sneer tugging at his lips. “Reasonable, you say? And yet, the fallout we’re all dealing with is the result of your actions?”

“Hmmm~~!” Gojo turned slightly, wagging a finger lazily.

“Yes—and no.”

“That wasn’t my doing.”

“All I did was one thing: I prayed to the strongest deity of a distant world.”

“I beseeched them for aid, to completely reshape this world.”

“And, against all odds, it worked.”

“A deity from another world?” Principal Gakuganji blinked slowly, his aged eyes betraying a mix of incredulity and curiosity. “You’re joking, aren’t you?”

“Not at all.” Gojo turned to face him fully, his piercing gaze locking onto the older man’s cloudy eyes. The ever-present smile on his face faded.

Narrowing his eyes, Gojo spoke with deliberate emphasis.

“No. I’m not joking—not a single word.”

The seriousness etched on his face left Principal Gakuganji momentarily stunned. This wasn’t the typical lighthearted Gojo he knew. This was a man who meant every word.

Turning away, Gojo raised a single finger.

“Neither summoning the deity nor praying for the eradication of curses and the resolution of all issues plaguing jujutsu sorcerers—none of it was a joke.”

“Principal Gakuganji, surely you know where curses originate from?”

“Cursed energy is innate to everyone. But unlike sorcerers, ordinary people lack the ability to suppress it. When intense emotions seep into the cursed energy they unconsciously release, curses are born.”

“In the past, the strongest jujutsu sorcerers undoubtedly sought ways to eliminate curses entirely. They’ve delved into the research, just as I did.”

“Through my study of the records, I discovered two potential solutions to eradicate curses.”

“Hmph! Such heretical nonsense.” Principal Gakuganji scoffed, narrowing his eyes. Despite his derisive tone, his sturdy frame remained poised and unyielding, even as he sat cross-legged on the tatami.

“Ha! So the old man does know,” Gojo said with a sly smirk. “The first solution is to accelerate human evolution so that everyone becomes aware of cursed energy. Awareness allows control, and when everyone can regulate their cursed energy, human emotions will no longer fuel curses. The curses would then vanish entirely.”

“The second path,” he continued, his tone deepening, “is the one my dear friend Suguru Geto once pursued. He wanted to eradicate all non-sorcerers, leaving a world of only jujutsu sorcerers. With no cursed energy coming from ordinary people, curses would cease to exist.”

“But...”

Gojo suddenly turned back to the principal, whose expression grew more serious by the second. The grin on Gojo’s face widened mischievously.

“But I, Satoru Gojo, have discovered a third path. One that involves praying to a god of another world—a god capable of providing the ultimate solution.”

“And so, I prayed. And it worked.”

“The deity from another world accepted my prayer. That declaration we all heard in our minds—it was their response.”

“The deity agreed to reform this world over five decades, one phase at a time.”

Gojo chuckled and gestured dismissively toward the crowd, as if anticipating their skepticism.

“And the price?” Principal Gakuganji’s sharp eyes bore into him. “Even if everything you say is true, every jujutsu technique requires binding vows. The greater the restriction, the greater the results. What was the cost of this miracle?”

“It’s already paid.” Gojo waved his finger dismissively.

“As for the specifics, don’t pry, old man. A guy deserves to keep some secrets.”

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Gojo clapped his hands, drawing everyone’s attention back to him.

“So, everyone—don’t think this is a joke. Moving forward, we’ll operate in five-decade phases.”

“And in the end, we will prevail, wiping out every last curse in this world.”

Witch’s World

High above the battlefield, several enormous white whales let out thunderous cries. Their massive bodies were riddled with scars and oozed blood.

On the ground, a fractured coalition of beastmen and human soldiers fought desperately to hold their ranks.

The old swordsman, known as the Sword Demon, fixed his steely gaze on the whales in the sky and then on the calm-faced young man before him.

“Natsuki Subaru, what do we do next?” the elder asked softly.

“I’ve got a plan,” Subaru declared confidently, thumping his chest. “If you look closely, old man, you’ll notice something important: the beasts we’re fighting aren’t multiple creatures—they’re all part of the same one.”

“The two whales circling and attacking us down here? They’re fragments of the main whale at the very top.”

“Their strength and resilience prove it.”

“This time, I’ll draw the attention of the main whale in the sky. Once I do, you’ll strike and take it down. That’s how we’ll claim victory today.”

“Natsuki Subaru...” The Sword Demon’s face grew solemn. “We’re counting on you. And please—be careful.”

“Of course,” Subaru replied with a bright smile, patting his chest.

“I’m Natsuki Subaru, Emilia’s miracle. I won’t die so easily.”

“After all, I need to see Emilia ascend to the throne. I need to witness a world where half-elves are no longer discriminated against!”

“I will not die here!!!”

He let out a defiant roar and tugged the reins of his ground dragon.

“Let’s go! Charge!”

“Raise your lances against the White Whale, scourge of the world!”
