Most of us use our own DVD copies and don’t have a time tracker so that really doesn’t help. We need video to let us know we’re in the right spot. 🫤

2024-09-07 19:35:15 +0000 UTCI thought The Planet of the Apes series was out of ideas when this came out, but boy this film proved me wrong. This is more or less a loose remake of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes, but done so much better. Andy Serkis was excellent as Caesar, and Tom Felton nearly steals the show as the abusive animal caretaker. You definitely have to check out the sequel Rise of the Planet of the Apes. It’s a rare sequel that’s even better than the first one.

I only caught it because I had subtitles on haha

The amazing performances, directing, and music in these films is consistent. The next two are even better! (haven't seen the most recent one, but I hear good things)
