She couldn't use her lightning in the train station until Toad inadvertently got Cyclops to blow a hole in the roof. Then in the Statue of Liberty base, she couldn't use a lightning bolt until she blew Toad out the window. Mystique doesn't copy other mutants powers'....she can only shapeshift into them physically. If you notice, she turned into Logan with what appeared to be claws, but when Logan's real adamantium claws cut hers off(she then screamed in pain meaning those claws she made was just her flesh). Dr. Jean Grey has telekinesis, but her power's aren't super powered. Whats so good about Xmen is that these aren't typical superheroes. Their powers can be gifts, or they can be curses. other superhero shows only show them with awesome powers where they kick ass and take names. Not here. Cyclops can't see with his normal eyes without hurting ppl. Rogue can't touch...Think about poor Toad trying to go out in public for a hotdog and a beer with green skin?
