The Weapon Master Shall Never Die Bare-Handed in Genshin Impact [207]

“So strong!”

Lumine exclaimed, watching in awe as another Fatui soldier was blown away by the shockwave from her blade. Her hair practically stood on end from the sheer energy coursing through her.

“It’s all thanks to Granny Ping’s buff! She’s amazing!” Paimon echoed, equally stunned.

Lumine hadn’t even swung with full force, yet the Fatui soldier was hurled into the air, their elemental shield utterly useless.

Unstoppable force, overwhelming impact...

“Granny Ping’s buff is incredible!” Lumine shouted excitedly, unleashing another swing of her sword. This time, the shockwave blasted yet another soldier into the distance. “Is this what Adepti power feels like?!”

The battlefield was now filled with waves of destructive energy.

It was clear that Granny Ping’s power wasn’t concentrated solely on Lumine, but her strikes carried an unmatched strength that annihilated every enemy in her path.

Even Jia Changjiang glowed faintly with Adepti energy, his blows sending shockwaves rippling through enemy ranks. Fatui soldiers who had once advanced fearlessly were now scattered like leaves in the wind.

Yet despite the invigorating power, the toll of prolonged battle was evident. The Millelith bore countless wounds, their movements growing sluggish. Even Lumine, Keqing, and Jia Changjiang bore signs of strain—scratches, bruises, and an unmistakable fatigue.

The battle, while manageable for now, could not continue indefinitely.

At that moment, Ganyu’s voice rang out, clear and reassuring.

Moments later, a gentle warmth—like the first breeze of spring—washed over the battlefield.

“The blood of the Qilin protects against corruption. Let go of your fears and fight with all your might. This is how we endured during the Archon War,” Ganyu declared, her Adepti energy spreading across the Jade Chamber.

The soothing aura worked miracles. Millelith soldiers, even those gravely injured, began to recover rapidly. Their wounds closed, and their strength returned, though at varying speeds depending on their condition.

Lumine glanced at her arms, astonished to see her cuts and bruises vanishing. “No wonder they call her Coconut Goat! My injuries are gone, and I don’t feel tired anymore!”

“Coconut... goat?” Keqing, still cutting down enemies, faltered slightly at Lumine’s odd comment. She turned back briefly, baffled.

Coconut goat?

Meanwhile, Jia Changjiang felt a tingling sensation as his own wounds began to heal at an accelerated rate.

“A shockwave boost and healing? These buffs are insane,” he muttered, clenching his fist experimentally.

Just then, a bullet fired by a Fatui Pyro Gunner struck his shoulder.

But before he could even register the pain, the injury had already healed.

Turning to face his attacker, Jia Changjiang summoned a long spear seemingly out of nowhere, tested its weight, and hurled it forward with pinpoint accuracy. The spear whistled through the rain and struck the Pyro Gunner, pinning him to the ground.

The combined powers of the Adepti—destruction and healing—were turning the tide of battle.

But the battlefield wasn’t done shifting yet.

“I am the Yaksha, an emissary of speed. Use my energy to run as I do—swift and untouchable.”

Suddenly, Jia Changjiang felt his body lighten. His steps became quicker, his leaps higher, as though the weight of the world had been lifted.

Three distinct powers: strength, restoration, and agility. Each represented a different Adeptus.

But they could not coexist within a single mortal.

As Xiao had once warned, neither Adepti energy nor demonic auras were meant for ordinary humans. Souls without sufficient fortitude risked being overwhelmed.

However, there were exceptions.

Jia Changjiang grimaced as the conflicting energies clashed within him, causing his body to ache and his mind to strain.

Borrowing the power of three Adepti simultaneously was a herculean feat.

For anyone else, their spirit would have fractured under the pressure, their body unable to bear the toll.

But Jia Changjiang, having endured the trials of Aatrox’s will, merely tightened his grip on his staff.

“Nice try, but no borrowed power is going to break me!”

Beside him, Lumine clenched her teeth, enduring a similar discomfort. Yet she, too, refused to falter, channeling the borrowed strength into her next attack.

“Remarkable,” Xiao remarked, observing them from above. “Both their souls and bodies are extraordinarily resilient. To wield the power of three Adepti simultaneously without collapse... rare indeed.”

Granny Ping chuckled softly. “Oh, it’s not just their resilience that’s interesting. It’s their resolve. Even in the face of such adversity, they refuse to give in. That resolve inspires the Millelith, too...”

The pair, now brimming with Adepti energy, charged forward from opposite sides of the battlefield like two unstoppable blades.

Jia Changjiang’s brutal strikes with his monk’s staff shattered the Fatui’s ranks, while Lumine’s combined Anemo and Geo attacks crushed everything in her path.

Together, they carved two massive gashes through the Fatui forces, forcing their ranks into disarray.

The Millelith, emboldened by the sight of their comrades’ incredible strength, rallied behind them.

Even the Fatui’s relentless assault began to waver, their numbers thinning as more and more fell.

But the battle wasn’t over.

Far in the distance, the vortex demon god Osial loomed, his massive form radiating terrifying power. The Jade Chamber trembled under his escalating attacks, and the oppressive aura of his wrath reached a crescendo.

The sealing force of Guyun Stone Forest had been weakened by the Fatui’s forbidden techniques, allowing Osial to regain strength comparable to his peak during the Archon War.

“Be careful!” Ganyu warned. “The demon god’s power is nearing its zenith!”

“That means it can’t get any worse, right?” Keqing muttered, slashing through another Fatui soldier with a crackling burst of Electro energy. “The Fatui’s forces are thinning out, too.”

“Press forward!” the Millelith commander bellowed. “Eliminate the remaining Fatui so the Adepti can focus on the demon god!”

Jia Changjiang glanced at the dwindling Fatui forces, an audacious thought forming in his mind.

Maybe I should just take this borrowed power and go down there myself to finish off the demon god.

But before he could act, the last of the Fatui disappeared, their summoning portals beginning to close.

The battlefield fell eerily silent, save for the distant roars of the raging sea and Osial’s thunderous bellows.
