I, the Geo Archon Morax with 2.1 Billion Mora, Have Joined a Chat Group [65]

The adeptus was not particularly large in stature, yet his presence radiated an aura of reverence and power.

The Traveler furrowed her brow, swiftly pulling out the Sigil of Permission and holding it out for him to inspect.

The adeptus paused, his expression briefly shifting to one of surprise before he sighed in recognition. “A Sigil of Permission? …It has been many years since I last saw such an item. To think remnants of it still remain in mortal hands.”

“I am the adeptus Moon Carver. Traveler, state your purpose.”

No sooner had his words settled than his head snapped up sharply, his gaze locking onto a point behind the Traveler.

“Hmph! Wait a moment,” Moon Carver growled. “It seems we have an uninvited guest.”

He took a step forward and bellowed toward the sky, “Who dares disturb the peace of this adeptus? Do you seek death?”

“Ha ha ha! Hah!” a mocking voice rang out from the distance, its tone dripping with derision.

“Moon Carver? What a grandiose title for a deer!”

As the voice echoed, a gale erupted from the heavens, tearing through the clouds. A whirlwind tinged with bluish-white lightning descended with tremendous force, crashing into the ground before Moon Carver and the Traveler.

Within the tempest, a figure emerged—a young man with striking white hair.

His attire was sharp and unconventional: a short-sleeved black-and-white shirt paired with practical pants, utterly different from the garb of Mondstadt or Liyue.

“I am Accelerator,” the boy announced, his hands shoved casually into his pockets and his lips curling into a cruel grin. “Not that it matters. All you need to know is that I’m here to crush you, adeptus.”

The insolence in his voice was undeniable.

“Insolent mortal,” Moon Carver retorted, his tone icy. “Flesh and blood, nothing more—and yet you dare spout such arrogance!”

Blinding light and searing heat erupted from Moon Carver’s body, igniting the ground around him. It was as if a miniature sun had descended upon the land, setting the surrounding grass ablaze.

Even the whirlwind summoned by Accelerator caught fire, transforming into a fiery tornado that scorched both earth and air.

“Elemental reactions?” Accelerator mused, his cruel grin widening. “Now this is interesting.”

Standing unscathed in the midst of the inferno, bluish-white energy began to coalesce around his hands.

Whoosh!

In an instant, a beam of energy roughly a meter wide shot from Accelerator’s hand, aimed directly at Moon Carver.

The speed of the attack was beyond comprehension, moving faster than the eye could track. By the time one noticed its bluish-white glow, it had already streaked past Moon Carver, narrowly missing him.

The beam left nothing in its wake. Everything it touched—grass, rock, and soil—vanished as if melted away, leaving only faint embers in its wake.

“Damn, missed,” Accelerator muttered, his grin growing more menacing. “Next one won’t miss, deer.”

For the first time in millennia, Moon Carver felt a sense of danger—a feeling he hadn’t experienced since the Archon War over 3,600 years ago.

“Traveler, stay back,” Moon Carver growled, his voice low and commanding. “I may not be able to protect you during this fight.”

Golden light enveloped his body, and fiery sparks like molten lava began to radiate from his antlers.

With a roar, he exhaled a massive column of flames, sending it surging toward Accelerator.

But the white-haired boy merely smirked, lifting a single hand from his pocket. With a casual motion, he swatted the pillar of flames aside, redirecting it harmlessly into the ground.

“Impressive display,” Accelerator mocked. He then raised his other hand, and the bluish-white energy coiled around him once more. Another beam shot forth, aimed directly at Moon Carver.

The attack struck true, slamming into the adeptus before he could react.

Yet, as the dust settled, Moon Carver remained standing, the molten flames covering his body shielding him from the blast.

The air trembled with the force of the collision, and a deafening explosion echoed across the land. A towering mushroom cloud rose above Jueyun Karst.

“Moon Carver!” the Traveler shouted in alarm, her voice trembling as she watched the aftermath.

Even Paimon was left speechless, her face pale with shock.

“Worry not,” Moon Carver’s steady voice called out from within the flames and smoke. “Such an attack is insufficient to harm me.”

With those words, nine massive flame tornadoes materialized in the sky, coiling and twisting as they encircled Accelerator.

[Command of the Nine-Dragon Divine Flames!]

Moon Carver’s voice rang out with authority as the nine fiery dragons roared and lunged at Accelerator.

“Tch! Can’t beat me in quality, so you’re trying to overwhelm me with quantity?” Accelerator sneered, his tone filled with disdain. “Fine. Let me show you the power of a true strongman.”

He extended both hands, palms open toward the incoming dragons.

As the first three dragons lunged, they were stopped mid-air, as if gripped by an invisible force. With a deafening crack, they shattered into embers.

One by one, the remaining dragons were similarly crushed, their fiery forms dissipating into nothingness under Accelerator’s relentless assault.

Just as he prepared to launch his next attack, Accelerator’s expression shifted. He sensed intense heat gathering directly in front of him.

Reflexively, he activated his reflective barrier, deflecting the surge of heat. Yet, it alerted him to a subtle shift in the environment.

“Hm?” Accelerator muttered, glancing around. His sharp gaze quickly took in the transformation.

The once-green mountaintop had turned into a searing furnace, a fiery domain that mirrored the legendary Flame Mountain of folklore.

Within this blazing realm, fire dragons swam through the air like fish in water, occasionally leaping out to lunge at Accelerator.

“Tch, so you’ve set a trap,” he muttered, his annoyance evident.

Hovering in the air, his body now exuded an aura of unyielding power, his voice ringing out clearly.

“This level of effort—now you’re worthy of being called an adeptus of Liyue.”

“And so, you’ve earned the right to hear my name.”

“I am the Transgressor of Heavenly Principles, the Awakener of the Abyss. I am the history of histories, the element of elements.”

“I am Accelerator, the Fourth Apostle of the Outer Order.”
