Progress Report

Hey everyone !

I never know how to start these posts... so uhmmm yeah I'm still working on the update and it's progressing steadily.

Now then, I wanted to talk a bit about the content of the first update for that Chapter. As you can expect it's going to be a lot of build up for every character. However, since there's a lot of them and I need to make double the amount of scene because of Mirko it may feel like each character as less content than usual for a first chapter. Of course I'm no superhuman so there's only so much stuff I can do in 3 months especially considering I've also had to do all the sprites, the maps and so on.
But I've made sure to give you some proper exciting content as well.

This update will also not be 100% representative of the whole chapter :
- it will be very guided since this is an intro
- It makes it seem like Mirko gets spicier scene just because she gets into the more serious content quicker with each character
- Your decisions for now don't impact the flow of the game a lot and just lets you decide who between Laz and Mirko gets a scene

The second point will be balanced out by the fact Laz gets more scenes with each character so the build up is a bit slower. And also because she's less rash than Mirko.
As for the third point, for the whole first half of the chapter most decisions won't lock you out of a path so even if Mirko gets some scene with a character Laz will still be able to interact and progress their content. Only in the later part of the chapter will Laz/Mirko be able to completely cockblock the other.


Completely unrelated point, but I felt like I had to mention it somewhere. Normally, I would’ve already run a poll for the next chapter’s theme after Chapter 5. But there’s one chapter I’ve been wanting to do for a while. One I can slot in pretty much anytime in the game (because it's not gonna progress the lore at all) and I just know it wouldn’t win any polls if I included it alongside more popular options. So I’ve decided that it would be Chapter 6, no voting this time. You’re stuck with it.

If you're wondering which it is, it's been in every poll since the start and it's Persona 5.
Of course since I just dropped that here, not a lot of people will see it but it's fine, I'll communicate about it later.
