The Buffet Incident Part 5

(not that those things are mutually exclusive, mind you, but pregnancy is definitely a cheat code when it comes to attaining a sexy belly).
Shorter bit of story this time. Mostly because I wrote this in the past 15 minutes, but also because the next couple parts are going to cover a lot more ground.

Adie and Lynne let their food settle a bit. They were both bloated enough to be mistaken as pregnant at this point, yet they weren't feeling too full. Almost simultaneously, their stomachs started making noise. Adie's stomach rumbled fiercely, as though it hadn't been fed in days, and Lynne's stomach groaned loudly with a similar protest. Both bellies clearly were not full enough, and it took both girls by surprise. Adie looked down at her stomach. Well that was clearly a call for more food, she thought, I didn't think I'd still be hungry after all that. What ran through Lynne's mind was a similar sentiment. How the hell am I still hungry? she pondered, There's no way I could possibly fit any more food into my stomach and yet here I am, feeling as though I could go for seconds... and maybe even thirds?
The girls looked at each other, now realizing that it was both their stomachs making noise. Lynne, intrigued, asked the one-word question that (unbeknownst to them) would send them both down a wild rabbit hole of gluttony for the rest of their lives, "More?" Adie nodded sheepishly in response, and the pair hefted themselves up to go get their second round.
