You need an ACTIVE subscription to access the Discord channel.
When you subscribe and unsubscribe immediately, you are an inactive user (determined by Patreon) and cannot enter Discord (everything is managed by the Patreon bot).
ONLY if you want to cancel your subscription, it is better to do it at the end of the month, obviously, because you guarantee having all the content and full access to discord.
