SO, I will eventually add Gladio 1 and 2's tattoos to this and also the panels.
Drai and Bean suggested a situation where Ardyn makes one fo them have to choose which is the real Gladio - get it right or they both die.
And Ardyn chooses Prompto much to Ignis and Noctis' horror and they are so stressed they say things that are unintentionally cruel.
'This isn't fair, he hasn't been around long enough to know us so well.' Gladio would be the easiest to imitate with his voice hidden.
But I figure he and Prompto had an agreement once they learned Ardyn was an arse who could change forms, and they have a gesture.
