Noct did it as a joke, Ignis and Gladio are off running errands
Then Noct went for a shower and was all sleepy when he came back and it just slipped his mind and he conked out, dead to the world and didn't wake till morning

Ugh, Noct. if you can't stay up for your pranks, don't pull them, jackass. At least he's very contrite. But too bad that does little to help Prom's self-esteem :(
