Noctis has a visiting cousin

And they're a total snob and to them Prompto is the lowest of the low

So he treats Prompto terrible at every opportunity

But after the first time he did it in front of Noctis he makes sure to keep it on the down low

'Please dont let me alone with him all week'

but it turns out that the person who's left alone with him

is Prompto

And man, I love all the detail you put into the clothes, with Noct and his cousin being so put-together and Prom over here in something much plainer

He backs Prom into a corner and Ignis comes in

And Ignis is like

'Kindly put that in and do up your trousers before I do it in reverse order'

Ignis is like 'I'm going ot be having a very detailed conversation with his Majesty'

Regis was probably exaggerating to get Noct to be agreeable

But the cousin sensed the vulnerability of the situation and of Prompto and he's pretty easy on the eyes so he made sure to remind him constantly of who was in charge.

Making Prompto hold their stuff when they were taking touristy pics.

Telling prompto his order in the coffee shop and Noct winces and throws him an apologetic look but he does it.

'It must be dificult for you here, to be a commoner *and* of Nif descent, why I doubt theres a much worst lot one can draw.'

Implies theres reasons for Noct keepign him around, maybe its all a publicity thing, to show Noct is unbiased and kind.

Promptos seen the drivel that sometimes appears in the tabloids, you dont get to be friends with Noctis and avoid being noticed.

After Ignis had words he would come in to Nocts room. 

'I have a very pressing question which I would like to clear up first, he swears this was the only time this has happened, but I would like to hear from you'

'Y-yeah it was, I mean, he's been a  dick....bad choice of wording, but um, just saying stuff'

'Can you elaborate?'

'Will this cause trouble for Noctis? or um his dad?' 

'Definitely not.'

'Oh, okay.'
