I've been knee-deep in essays/thesis's so I'm in overanalyze mode and I think it's spilling over lmao without rambling too much as I am wont to do - water symbolism is one of my favs since it's pretty universal and you do a great job of showing how significant it is to Prompto right now. It's literally all he has and that's heartbreaking! And lmao, I love the "Let's keep this PG" steam. It's like a very well-drawn version of the sims

2018-04-28 07:39:32 +0000 UTCI'm broken and it's only the second day omg this comic will be the end of me. He already looks thin and just seeing him curled up in the shower like that just breaks me. I also ADORE how you did the steam in the shower and the final panel with the towel on his head. He just looks so small against the white, hands shaking around the glass of water. And I love the persistence of that image repeating through the pages. Like he's trying, but damn if it isn't still taking its toll. And like I'm probs DEF overanalyzing it but I just can't get over it, I'm not sure if it's intentional or not but water is often seen as a symbol of sacrifice in literature and having it in a glass/dishware (though natural since he's drinking it) makes it a symbol the water specifically a sacrifice of food and communion/companionship as well. So like in my head every time I see it, I'm just like "double oof" my hearttt
