Crystal Convos - Labradorite

Good morning moon babes. 🤍 Back at it again with another Crystal Convos post. This series is all about talking to you about gemstones, their spiritual properties, and what they mean. Previously, I've talked about Aquamarine, Moonstone, and Tiger's Eye. Today I want to talk about labradorite.

Labradorite is a powerful protector of mind, body, and spirit. It is stone of transformation that can help prepare your body and soul for ascension. It is best known for raising consciousness, protecting the aura, and preventing energy leakages. Labradorite is great to carry with you as you undergo change, giving you strength and perseverance to push through. Because it holds esoteric knowledge it can take you into the other world or into other lives, strengthening your trust in the universe. 

Change is the only constant in life. Carry labradorite with you as you undergo change and give you the strength to leave behind the things that are draining you. Personally, I love using labradorite for mind and spirit protection while also staying spiritually tuned in.

Labradorite was first identified in Labrador, Canada, but it has been found in Poland, Norway, Finland, Madagascar, China, Australia, Slovakia as well as the United States. The pretty iridescent optical effect of labradorite is called labradorescence. The color of it can  change as the light hits it, but it is known to be grey, grey-white, brown, greenish, pale green, blue, yellow, and colorless. But due to the labradorescence, the quality, and the light, it can give a rainbow, flashy iridescence. You'll see it in its natural state as well as polished and tumbled.
