[Starting in Naruto with a Daily Login System] Chapter 41 Testing My Limits (And My Survival Instincts)

I had made some incredibly questionable decisions in my life.

Challenging Minato-sensei to a no-holds-barred spar in the Forest of Death? Definitely top three.

The other two?

Letting Obito cook once.

Summoning Taka during an ANBU mission.

(One nearly gave me food poisoning, the other nearly got me publicly executed for "high-pitched interference.")

But here I was, standing across from Konoha’s Yellow Flash, about to get my head kicked in.

Minato stood across from me, exuding that effortless, golden confidence that made him both my sensei and my greatest headache. The Forest of Death loomed around us, silent but watchful, like it knew this was about to be a spectacle.

I cracked my neck. "Alright, sensei, I want a real fight."

Minato raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure? Last time, we just—"

"Yeah, yeah, I know. Last time was an estimation," I interrupted, waving him off. "This time, I want to see where I actually stand."

Minato sighed, but there was a glint of amusement in his eyes. "Alright, Kakashi. Don't hold back."

I didn’t plan to.

I activated Godspeed.

The world sharpened. My Six Eyes, always active, processed Minato’s stance, micro-expressions, and the subtle flex of his fingers in terrifying clarity. Lightning Fury crackled across my skin as Pink Muscles flexed, their enhanced fibers surging with ridiculous strength. And of course, my Seamless Sublimity ensured every ounce of power I wielded was being used in the most efficient way possible.

Then, I moved.

One moment, I was standing still. The next, I was behind Minato, my fist already driving toward his ribs. The impact should have landed, but Minato—because of course—flipped midair, narrowly dodging by a fraction of a second.

I didn’t let up. I chased.

He flickered away with Flying Thunder God, reappearing yards away, his sharp blue eyes widening just a bit. "Fast."

"Faster," I corrected.

Lightning crackled in my palms as I launched forward again, my body already blurring before the first step even touched the ground. Minato threw a kunai—I saw the seal on it, tracked his trajectory, and moved before he could teleport.

This time, I was ready.

I twisted midair, striking before he could fully materialize. My knee crashed against his guard, sending shockwaves rippling through the forest. Trees groaned, leaves shredded from the sheer force of our clash.

Minato grinned.

A flash of yellow—and suddenly, I was the one on the defensive.

His Rasengan flared to life in his palm, spinning toward me with terrifying precision. My body reacted before my brain fully processed the movement—I twisted, planting a hand on the ground and launching myself sideways. The Rasengan exploded where I had been a moment ago, carving a crater into the earth.

Alright. I had speed. He had teleportation.

Fine.

Time to see how much Senju-tier stamina I really had.

I exhaled, feeling the chakra flooding my body. I had been fighting at full throttle for several minutes already. Normally, I’d be pacing myself. But now?

I felt fine.

No fatigue. No burn. No slowdown.

Huh.

I rushed forward again, launching a feint to the left before immediately reversing, appearing behind Minato with an electrified Chidori.

His kunai flicked up—too late.

My attack connected.

Minato barely managed to redirect the blow, but the sheer force sent him skidding backward. His sleeve was shredded, a thin trail of blood appearing on his arm.

I landed smoothly, blinking.

Oh.

I just hit Minato.

Minato dusted himself off, looking at me with something between amusement and genuine curiosity. "...Interesting."

I flexed my hand, still crackling with lightning. "Oh, I get it now."

"Get what?" Minato asked.

"I always thought Senju's had stupid levels of stamina," I mused. "Turns out, they really do."

Minato tilted his head. "What?"

"Nothing," I said quickly. "Let’s keep going."

And just like that, we blurred forward again, the ground cratering beneath us.

—-

Minato wiped the thin line of blood on his arm, eyes sharp with intrigue. I could tell he had questions, but luckily, I was going to be too busy trying to survive to answer them.

Because the moment I so much as blinked—

Minato vanished.

Oh, for—

My Six Eyes picked up the kunai sailing through the air—two, no, three, forming a perfect trap. If I moved left, he’d teleport. If I moved right, he’d teleport. If I breathed wrong, he’d teleport.

I didn’t fall for it.

Instead of dodging, I did something unhinged.

I punched the kunai.

Lightning detonated from my fist as Pink Muscles powered through the resistance. The kunai twisted in the air off-course, missing its precise teleportation mark. That single fraction of an inch delayed Minato’s reappearance—

And that was all I needed.

I burst forward, my body already accelerating past its previous limits. The black bones reinforcing my frame let me push harder than ever, my body handling the sheer force of Lightning Fury and Godspeed without a hint of self-destruction.

Minato reappeared—right in my attack range.

His instincts kicked in immediately. His arms raised to block—too late. My enhanced strength crashed into him like a battering ram, sending him rocketing backward, his boots tearing into the ground.

I stood there, still crackling with lightning, blinking at my own hand.

Huh. That actually worked.

Minato, brushing dirt off his cloak, gave me the most disappointed teacher stare I had ever received. "Kakashi."

I straightened instinctively. "Yes, sensei?"

"Did you just punch a kunai?"

"...Maybe."

"That's—" he pinched the bridge of his nose. "You know what? Never mind. If it works, it works."

Damn right it works.

Minato’s smile was sharp. "You're really something now, huh?"

I shrugged, cracking my knuckles. "I was always something. Now I’m just... more something."

Minato laughed, but then, in the next second—

He was gone.

My Six Eyes barely tracked him—his speed was still insane. Even with my Godspeed-enhanced reaction time, I could only spot him at the last second, appearing directly above me.

Rasengan, incoming.

My body moved before my brain finished processing. I twisted, using my superhuman muscles to pivot mid-air and kick off a tree branch, narrowly avoiding the spiraling sphere of death.

Close.

I landed, skidding backward. Minato didn’t let up. His kunai whizzed past me again, teleporting into another angle of attack.

Alright. Time to stop playing nice.

I let the full force of my Senju stamina, Pink Muscles, and Lightning Fury explode outward. The ground cracked beneath me as my body disappeared into a blue-white blur, intercepting Minato before he could finish teleporting.

His eyes widened.

This time, I knew he wasn’t expecting me to match him.

I didn’t just match.

I overwhelmed.

My fist blurred forward—he dodged, but I was already adjusting, another attack coming from the opposite angle. My body moved seamlessly, every action perfectly optimized through Seamless Sublimity.

A kick to his ribs—he teleported.

But before he could complete the seal, my Chidori-coated elbow smashed into his defense, forcing him off balance.

For once, I wasn’t the one reacting.

Minato was.

For once, I wasn’t just keeping up.

I was pressuring him.

I grinned. "Not so untouchable now, huh?"

Minato chuckled, wiping sweat from his brow. "You really are something else, Kakashi."

"Yeah," I said. "And I’m not even done yet."

Minato flickered out of existence again, but this time, I was already moving.

My body vanished in a blue-white blur, the sheer speed of my Godspeed-enhanced movements warping the air around me. Lightning arced violently with every step, my body crackling like a living storm.

I wasn’t running anymore.

I was flowing.

Minato reappeared behind me—too late. My Chidori-infused fist was already swinging toward him.

Seamless Sublimity ensured my strike was perfect.

But Minato was Minato.

A flicker—gone.

Oh, for—

I twisted, predicting his angle—my Six Eyes picking up on the faint distortion of chakra that came milliseconds before he actually teleported.

There.

I was on him before he could react.

My fist collided with his hastily raised forearm, the impact blasting out a shockwave that cracked the trees behind him. But instead of getting blown away—

Minato grabbed my wrist.

And suddenly, I was the one flying.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa—!"

I twisted midair, pure Senju stamina letting me adjust even as I rebounded off a tree. My enhanced muscles and bones absorbed the impact without issue, letting me land effortlessly.

Minato smirked. "You're still predictable."

Oh, he did not just—

Lightning detonated from my body.

"Alright, sensei. No more holding back."

Minato's expression sharpened. His next words were slow. "You were holding back?"

I grinned. Then I was gone.

I pushed past my limits—Godspeed coursing through every cell in my body, Pink Muscles and Black Bones holding me together despite the ridiculous speeds.

Minato teleported—but I was already there.

A Chidori-laced uppercut launched him into the air. I followed, appearing behind him before he could stabilize.

Kick to the ribs. Teleport.

Palm strike to the shoulder. Teleport.

Elbow to the back—this time, he couldn’t teleport in time.

He slammed into the ground, tearing through the dirt in a wild spiral.

For the first time ever—

I had actually cornered him.

Holy. Shit.

I landed, cracking my knuckles. "How's that for predictable?"

Minato groaned, getting up. "I walked into that one, huh?"

"You sure did, sensei." I grinned. "Want to call it a day?"

Minato's lips curled. "Not yet."

I blinked. "What do you mean, not ye—"

Then I felt it.

Oh, no.

Oh, you absolute cheater.

Minato's chakra shifted—his presence expanding, nature energy flooding into him.

His once golden hair seemed even brighter, his aura calm yet terrifying.

Sage Mode.

I stared at him.

"Really?" I deadpanned. "You're pulling out Sage Mode? Against me? After everything?"

Minato smiled. "Well, you are strong now, Kakashi."

Oh, that was such a diplomatic way of saying you're too strong to be taken lightly.

"Uh-huh." I sighed, rolling my shoulders. "This is favoritism, isn't it?"

Minato tilted his head. "How so?"

"Because Jiraiya-sensei never did this against you. But you’re doing it against me."

Minato laughed. "Well, I suppose that's a compliment."

"Yeah, yeah. Compliment. Whatever." I huffed. "Still cheating."

Minato took his stance. "And you're using super strength, enhanced durability, perfect reaction time, and lightning-speed movement."

"Yeah, but that's different," I argued.

"How?"

I opened my mouth. Then closed it.

Damn it. He had a point.

I exhaled. "Fine. Fine. Let's finish this."

Minato smiled. "Let's."

Then he moved.

And I lost.

It wasn't immediate—I still fought like my life depended on it, landing more clean hits than ever before.

But Sage Mode Minato was an absolute nightmare to fight.

He wasn't just faster—his movements were smoother, his reactions flawless. His enhanced strength and durability meant he could tank my attacks better, while his sensory abilities let him read my movements even before I committed to them.

I still kept up—dodging, countering, and making him actually work for the victory.

But eventually—

He got me.

A well-placed Hiraishin feint left me open for half a second—

And then his Rasengan slammed into my gut, launching me across the clearing.

I crashed into the dirt, coughing.

Well.

Damn.

Minato walked up, offering me a hand. "Good fight?"

I stared at him. "Cheating fight."

Minato chuckled. "Hypocrite."

I sighed dramatically. "Yeah, yeah. Good fight, sensei."

As I let him pull me up, I couldn't help but grin.

I had lost.

But I had never been this close before.

And next time?

I wasn't going to lose.
