How To Create Sigils Video Pt 1

Good afternoon moon babes! This is a long-awaited video that you guys have been asking for. We're going to talk about sigils! There are a bunch of ways to do it but I'm showing you the way I like to do it. Get your pen and paper to practice as you watch the video. You can also follow along on the transcript below!

Hey guys I am back doing a different format we are here with my book of shadows that I have here at work um a pen and we're gonna talk about sigils because is that like oh yeah it's on my phone um a lot of you guys ask in some of the videos that I've been making up a little look how insane also like just look at this pajamas look at these swirls anyway um we're sitting at my altar at work so we're going to be making sigils or well I'm just going to be showing you guys like a rough way of doing a Sigil there's a bunch of different ways that I like doing it you can do it in general um so let's just start this out um I like to create my sigils in my spoke of Shadows I like to do them towards the end though so I can rip them out and then move forward and then I have like a Sigil sheet that I will add all of my stitches to once they're activated so I can just easily go back um but you know what let me actually do it this way so it's more straightforward for you guys it's hard because like I write in a way that this would be different for a simple sigil let's just pick like a really short sentence um and you're gonna always want to do it as it's something that has already happened so I am divinely let's just do like I foreign I am divinely protected so that would be like your statement right granted I would like drill down on this and get specific on what you're protected by thank you to your ancestors those kind of things but let's just say that this is your sentence and you could fill this in with literally anything you'd like it to be so get creative with that um but then you're going to want to go and get your vowels out so a-e-i-o-u sometimes y always Y in my work um and you're gonna just like X those out because you don't need those so go through and get all of those out so you're left with an m a d a v an n l a p and r a c a t and a d sorry my handwriting is you know it's kind of difficult doing it this way um so now if there's any doubles you're gonna take those out since there is one M they're fine there's two D's in here we're going to take that out that's an n and the rest honestly are actual letters so we're going to bring those down again well your you could just keep this like this right so we have one two three four five six seven eight nine so from here some people like to take um the like I'll do it over here so like the M's are made out of one two three four lines right so they'll take those four lines and like they can take it into anything so maybe they're like okay there's four lines here and there's two lines with a d right I'm gonna take the one line from the n and one line from the D and create something like that right it's like it's still the same like energetically thing but it's just like combined um I'm Gonna Leave This to the side and just kind of like put this in a square so I don't get it confused but you could do something like that with all of the letters and create your own sigil just off of like letters it doesn't have to be what we're going to kind of do from over here but I'll show you one way here um you can do I like to do alphabet grids so um it's going to be one through nine at the top so one two and then you're just gonna make a little grid and since this one's smaller I don't need to like if it's a longer sentence usually I need like way more room but since this is a short sentence I really don't um and then you're going to do a b c d all the way through well I'm being stupid and leaving the vowels in here and I don't need to but that's fine okay so now that you have the grid all gridded out I'm gonna actually add these lines here because it's easier for my eyes and you're going to go through and find each one and I like to Circle it because once again it's easier for my eyes so we're starting off with an M that would be number one and then we have or we're just going to Circle D we have a v and and L a p and r C T and A D and now oh we already crossed the D out now while you're doing this the whole time if you'd like to be playing um like music that goes along with this if you're going to pray bring your ancestors down light a candle for them because this whole thing like is involved in your ritual like for the video that we just talked about or that I just made or I guess it was a post it was on the dream recall so maybe like you're doing you're you're creating a Sigil for that um I will remember all the dreams that my ancestors and Omen send me throughout my um Slumber and while I wake up they are fresh and then the front of my mind able to whatever that's a long one but like I would write that out and go through this I'm doing it with my ancestors like the page is half full and then we're flipping the page to start going through them like this right my schedules usually don't aren't able to create on one page but you can um so invite them in like this is a time that yes your energy is starting you haven't quite activated it yet but the energy is going into this so um now that you have all of these you're going to write the numbers down that have circles so we have a two we have three or two threes which is fine because we so we have two threes which is fine which we're gonna deal with later so we're just gonna do three three and we have three fours which is interesting we have five and if we have a seven and a nine so these repeating ones you could go out and cross out we're not because I like to do like a little something in my in my working so you'll see that's your next so this is step one step two actually let me say I feel like I'm in you know like school where they're at the projector or whatever so now that we've got your numbers you can do also the way that we're going to do this chart a bunch of different way people like using number Wheels I don't really like to do I don't know my my eyes don't work so I'm gonna do I'm just gonna make in a circle I'm gonna do one through nine and let's hope that this makes sense one two three there should be one right here but that's fine one two three four there's gonna be five six seven eight nine so you have that here and you could create this circle we could do it again up here and we just might because if I don't like the way that this looks that's totally fine so I like to start it like that some people start in the middle that's totally fine some people started the number I personally am going to start at the number with a line and so we're starting at two and there's we're gonna go over to three remember that there's two threes so I honestly like to do a loop which it looks crazy here but we're gonna make it look better later um over to four we're gonna go round four one since there's there's three fours so we're gonna go past Four and here's the first Loop second Loop and then third Loop to five so the loops are and it kind of created a six the loops are like so if there's two threes you do the loop next to three that's that comes to the second one there's there's three fours I'm doing three Loops to get to the next one you can literally just count that out and just go to three ones you can go to four Once that's fine I like to include that over two we've done that over to five it shouldn't end over here at five we're gonna go over to seven now if you don't want them to be all straight lines you can you know do that too you can swoop them all of these kind of things later and then we're going to finish at nine with an open circle because that's the last one so now I actually don't hate this I'm gonna try to recreate it right next to it um what we have drawn in here which might take a couple tries that's totally fine especially because I'm with a pen so I'm going to redraw that over here a couple times well thank you my lunch just got here okay so we're gonna start up with a little swoop around oh see I didn't do that right it would go around differently but we're gonna just pretend like I did sometimes it ends up being better I still you could use this this is like your this is you're fine um but I do like that little six here so I if I was making this for myself I would redraw that in the way that I could trace this right I you could just Trace over it my eyes sometimes don't work like that so granted this is this is your sigil now pass this um I then like to add different type of elements I have pens all over my finger I like to add I'm always going to add the elements into my sigil because I like to work with the elements especially water but it's just the elements I like to add Spirit into my workings um you can add different directions with doing like arrows and since like I would be like divinely protected what I would do is add like um I'm gonna add the elements right here um you can add them scattered or don't add them at all I just like to add the elements I'm just you know whatever I'm going to put them in here like this because it's easy and then in a way for this to make sense um if this was like let's say this was like you're transmuting energy You're Gonna Want to push all the energy out and away from you so maybe you're drawing like arrows that go out um or you're drawing something into you're drawing arrows that go on in and maybe you're using Flames or different things like that to draw in whatever you're trying to for that working right um and since this one isn't I don't have anything bougie going on with this like fake one we would just leave it at that so to power this up um this is hard I drew that I looked at the paper through the film how to activate now I'm you want to rip this up rip up your piece of paper um you can spit on it to activate it you can burn it to activate it you can use Florida water to activate it you can you could do you can activate your sigils however you like to do it a lot of people do it with fire because it's the easiest way to do it literally just burn it what I do because I like to prep things with water is I would use holy water I would use Florida water and manifestation oil or something like that a little bit of ancestor money Ash and then I'm burning this so then my ancestors are always in verb involved in what I'm doing then once it's burned also like here's the thing because I like so you're going to redraw it because you obviously need to keep it so um keep your little piece like this draw an extra piece over to the side that you're going to burn or activate however that might be it could be in water I like also I'm someone that likes to add like salt water sea salt water sea water to my Essential to activate them I'll give them to the ocean um but let's say you're burning it so you're going to still want this sigil to then recreate and draw on things to empower them like to use um like the reference was we did a Sigil for this sleep bag um you're obviously going to want to reference that sigil and have it later so keep it in your book um write the sigil like somewhere later somewhere down here rip it off make sure there's no man-made edges and then activate it but this is part let's do sigil's part one because this is a very very simple way to do a Sigil um they're pretty straightforward I would say that they're not like the sexiest looking sigils but some people get really creative obviously the more artistic you are the better you can get I like doing them um a lot of different ways where they incorporate the letters versus like kind of like this but this is a way that I find more palatable um easier on the go if you because I like to add sigils to anything and like it's just easier to go this way so I hope this helped you guys out um if you want to see different ways or if you want like if you want to create sigils I think it'd be really fun to sit on here and create sigils for you guys obviously then I'm not going to activate it you guys could activate them for whatever you want um so if there's a Sigil that you guys would like to see for like a working that we can include later like the Dream City would have been sick for me to create for everyone and then we can go and activate it separately and then you guys can use it um just
