Good morning moon babes! Happy 1st of the month and welcome to the 31 Days Of Samhain!! I absolutely love this time of year and putting together these posts. For the next 31 days you will all be receiving daily post, spells, breakdowns, podcasts, tarot spreads, kitchen witchcraft, ect! We normally do money spells for the first but to get into the theme of Samhain I wanted to do a protection spell for the abundance we always work on drawing in.

A lot of time around money work and attraction work there can be blockages in energy when people are jealous, stingy, hateful, or otherwise. They might notice you doing well for yourself and dislike that or subconsciously are hating / wishing they were doing well and sending you the evil eye unknowingly. You guys could make this working into a candle spell, bath, floor wash, powder, or just use the prayer to make this fit your practice!

Things You'll Need:

-Peppermint / clove / rosemary / chamomile/ “breaks all” or any protective incense you have.

-A black or green sachet back

-Dill - for evil eye protection, luck, abundance

- Star anise- aura protection, abundance, money drawing.

-Clove - for dominance, protection, luck and attraction.

-Black obsidian crystal - protection, you can also program this to absorb the negative energy people might be sending your way.

-A bill - any monetary value

-Fennel - against evil

Rue - warding off evil eye also brings in money

Witches burr - for protection, and removing negative from a space

Anything sharp, teeth, glass, nails, tacks, thorns, anything you like that's shared in your practice for warding purposes here.

How To Cast:

Cleanse your home from back to front entirely out of  your front door, this can be with smoke, sound, water, prayers, anything you’d like. Light your incense on your altar or wherever you are going to be making this spell bag and set it down, we are going to be utilizing the energy from the smoke to help actactivate your herbs and supplies today.

Gather your herbs and tools, taking the sachet, hold it between your hands and wave it over the incense smoke, cleansing and clearing the fabric of any leftover or residual energy it might have, then begin taking every herb and tool you'd like to use and one by one bring them to the smoke in your hand, waving them through the thick smoke and physically stating what you'd like them to do in this ritual for you (I have put some examples next to the herbs above). Once every herb is activated and you have spent time putting energy into them, place them one by one into the sachet. Once all items have been added including your crystals and other protective items you see fit close the sachet. You should have some sort of string or that comes with the bag to close it, use the excess to wrap around the bag a few extra times, sealing your will with the spell.

Once your bag is complete, chant the spell below at least 3 times over the bag, and place it somewhere high in the center of your home (your room if you live in a shared space.) Somewhere you wouldn't be touching the oven and is out of sight. Once this sachet is in place I like to charge it up every so often with incense, the moon, or some spiritual colognes!
