Hi, this is Xai!
The amount of snowfall in Sapporo this year was about the same as usual, if we only look at the results.
However, it snowed so much in January and February that we could barely move at times...
At times like that, we could rely on a bull (snowplow) like the one Kirara rides!
Thanks to the snow plow, we have been able to spend a comfortable winter.
Maybe we should buy one too...
I have applied to exhibit at Comiket 102, which is scheduled to be held in August this year.
I will write a separate article on the details, but for today's article, I would like to look back on the history of TeamKRAMA's participation in Comiket so far.
(The word "sell" is used in the text, but the correct word is "distribute. (For the sake of translation, I will use the word "sale" instead of "distribution.)

TeamKRAMA first participated in Comiket starting with C91 on December 31, 2016.
At the time, there were few circle members and I remember I was selling hard by myself on the cold floor.
I burned about 100 DVDs of the demo version of SoD (RapeOfTheDead at the time) and sold them.
I remember running two PCs at full capacity to create the DVDs and working for two days in between jobs.
I had no idea how many copies I would sell, but I was very happy to be able to distribute about 60 copies, thanks in part to the desperate calls for help.
At that time, I felt the joy of having my work in other people's hands and the pleasure of being able to sell it face-to-face, and I decided to continue participating in Comiket.

C92 was held in August 2017. Since it was difficult to do a lot of things alone, a vendor who was introduced to me by an acquaintance cosplayed as Hikari.
The standard price for selling doujin games at Comiket is 100-500 yen, but since we were planning to sell them on DLSite and Fanza (DMM at the time) later, we didn't want to lower the price by any means! So we took what could be called an outrageous action by selling the game for 2,000 yen, but many people bought it and we were able to sell about 50 copies.
Must have been the cosplay effect!

He then participated in C94 in August 2018, C95 in December 2018, and C96 in August 2019.
After finishing SoD, we sold the trial version of ASCOT (called NOAR at the time), a new development project, and other products.

One space at Comiket is a rather small space, 90cm x 45cm!
In order to study how to make this space look beautiful, we actually built a layout in 3D and went through a lot of trial and error.

After much trial and error, the format shifted from DVD sales to selling download codes printed on postcards.
The most important reason is that the size of the DVDs was too large to fit on a single DVD.

Around C95, we started a strategy of handing out flyers for free.
The number of people who stopped and looked at the flyers increased

Borrowing a LookingGlass, which allows naked eye to see three-dimensionally, from an acquaintance, he exhibited Ascot at Comiket.
However, he had to give up the project in a hurry because he consumed 60% of his battery in just one hour.

December 2019, the first attempt to sell two works at the same time.
Also, an interesting project to add a short SoD manga in cooperation with the very famous erotic manga artist "Yamaun!"
This was the peak of the event, and from then on it became a lonely period when Comiket itself was not held for two years due to Corona.

We participated in C99 in December 2021 with the spread of infection control and vaccinations and a full house.
Although it was a lonely turnout compared to previous years, it meant a lot that we were able to hold this event!
I can only say thank you so much to the steering committe.

In August 2022, we participated in the memorable 100th Comiket.
It was the first unveiling of the remade new ASCOT.
Although the turnout was still not as large as it had been in its heyday, I got the impression that it was slowly coming back compared to C99.

I prepare these things every time I go.
You would think that after participating seven times, I would have gotten used to it by now, but it's been more than half a year and I've forgotten most of it...what did I do last time? What did I do last time? So I try to keep a record of what I did last time.
How was it?
Looking back at it this way, I realize that TeamKRAMA has grown thanks to the support of so many people.
We will continue to do our best in development to meet your expectations!
