My theory on why she says she bartered her eyes with god is that she previously had a power and overuse of the power caused her blindness. I really like Sala's character because it's clear that there is a lot of interesting backstory there that we will just never know about. I also have a few ideas about the meaning of her backstory and how it connects to later parts of the show, but I'll save that for the final episode.
