One Piece Openings UNCUT!

It's finally here! we hope you enjoy! We were really impressed by how not only the style evolved but how you could see the characters evolving and again as it goes on (and we're not just talking about the timeskip)

It was a lot of fun and we hope you enjoy our reaction!

One Piece Openings UNCUT!

when people refer to one piece filler i think they mean the recaps in the anime version since their about 7 minutes. and how like it takes 10 eps to cover the same amount of 2 normal shonen episodes but i do understand that if you read the manga and watched the anime you may not have noticed, and if your being super specific then yeah one piece doesn't have a lot of filler i don't even think their was a 100. I love the show and manga just wish that toei did as well. Though it seems that since the break this year they have started to speed up and increase the animation.

Although, you'll be missing out on the amazing voice acting and gorgeous orchestral score.... Hmmmmm.... Maybe watch the anime until 523 then switch to the manga. That way you'll skip the arcs that use stretch fillers to give the manga enough time to gain a sizeable lead on the show

Seconded. Read the manga, then if a particular scene really impressed you, just watch that scene in the anime.

Cheers! Enjoyed the reaction! Must add I wish it would explain that opening seven is a remake of opening one as it's around one of the show's anniversaries. The voice actors are singing the parts! The filler comment was amusing considering OP barely has over 100 filler episodes and is approaching 1000 episodes in the next couple of years. I've watched the entirety of both Narutos and that had filler to go with it's filler that expanded on its filler. I had to skip parts. The only filler that really annoyed me in One Piece was the movie episodes. There are only a handful, but they almost completely end up off course from the story. I read the manga and watch the anime. Should add the openings tend to spoil especially the newer ones. A lot of the middle ones have cover art and fan requested art. There was one with Franky and Luffy boxing, Robin and Nami in bikinis, etc. That's all covers requested by fans for Oda to draw in the manga made into animations. The manga covers are a mix of canon stories and random drawings. And i recommend most to skip the openings, but it's up to each person individually if they skip them or not.

Just one word of advice. Don't press Western beliefs, ideals, culture, etc onto anime. It creates an annoying bias that Westerners can't seem to leave behind. It's why Japanese often mock Westerners. Japanese aren't going to conform and that annoys current Western society that wants to force its opinions, cultures, beliefs, etc onto others. As a Westerner myself it's embarrassing how we push our culture onto others so much. It's fine to be shocked with something they do or put into an anime, but try to take a step back and look at it in the context of Japanese culture rather than Western culture. You gain a lot more understanding when watching or reading anything from any culture that way.

It was a pretty interesting choice for sure!

That'd be really cool

The anime stopped having ED songs around episode 280 which is why the OPs are longer.

HandicapBankai

it definitely looks like a huge step up, just judgin from the OP's

BOLDcast

damn that's crazy, I'm kind proud I could pick up on something like that, that's dope though

BOLDcast

yeah that's what I heard, maybe in the future, I'll do a volume to volume review if people are into that - Carson

current arc for one piece (wano) have without doubts the best artstyle

Reading it is 100% the ideal way to experience One Piece. The anime has really bad pacing. I think they adapt roughly 1 chapter an episode for the majority of the anime.

The show does have the same style and funny enough, the same dude who worked on the Broly movie is working on the animation for it.
