I definitely prefer this format over the uncut I'm not too sure because I don't read the manga, but I do know that it is much more fast paced than the anime and a lot of added details were added into fights in the anime that weren't in the manga probably for pacing reasons so that could explain why they didn't cut the webs, but also it seemed like it was hard for them to do so as they were surrounded and the demon slayers were attacking with much more speed than normal due to them being puppets
