The fact that you loved how they delve into the enemy's backstory means you will love Naruto. The story is only as good as its villain. It's easy to forget that these are just kids and people just like you or me. I feel like Kimimaro's story speaks every Naruto villain out there in some way or form. He wanted a purpose, which Orochimaru gave him. And he wanted to not be lonely anymore, which Orochimaru salvaged him from.

2020-10-14 13:37:58 +0000 UTCKimimaro just like Haku is one of those characters you wished could have been saved. At his age he didn’t really have a choice. Also Kimimaro would have annihilated Lee and Gaara if he wasn’t sick. Even while sick he would have won if he hadn’t died at that exact moment. Dude was strong.
