Nice reaction 💯 you're exactly right and its why I enjoyed Demon Slayer as much as I did. I haven't watched shonen as much but I know the tropes etc. Even with that, DS does a good job giving an amazing experience with the formula. Cos lets be fair tropes and cliches become so popular for a reason.. its cos people love it no matter what. DS toes the line between being a typical shonen and being such a unique amazing experience for everyone. For both new fans of shonen and experienced veteran fans alike.

2020-11-02 02:01:56 +0000 UTC[SPOILERS FOR NEW VIEWERS] I think what made me pop the most in this episode wasn't the amazing animation. And my god it was absolutely amazing, bless you ufotable. But it was in the moment Nezuko used her Blood Demon Art for the first time, it was also the first time she spoke since becoming a demon. And that synergy with her power reflecting on her human background and finally speaking shows a connection with her finding herself again. And I lost my shit when she spoke. Amazing episode, my favorite of 2019.
