Good news Key studio fans. A new anime that is coming out this season is called Kaginado and it has many characters from the key universe interacting with each other. It's most likely gonna be bad but I just wanna have some nostalgia because I haven't seen these characters in like 10 years so I don't care. It's a guilty pleasure

I've watched this anime at least 40 times. Not even meming or exaggerating. This show gets you so attached to the characters like they're part of your family or something.

This is probably my favorite anime of all time. In my opinion its definitely a masterpiece. It has a good story, good romance, amazing soundtrack and good comedy aswell. Especially in season 1. Just can't bring myself to rewatch it cause of the heartbreak during the show even if it has a happy ending.

Clannad's final twist on the plot
(Reveal the plot direction)
Many viewers may have many questions after watching episode 22 of Season 2. How did Nagisa get resurrected? Is it tomoya's dream after episode 17? What about the disappearance of the girl and the robot in the other world? The story changes so quickly that it's easy for people who haven't played the game to misunderstand it.
As anyone who has played the game knows, After Story, which is the ninth episode of season 2, is played three times. The end of the game after finishing it for the first time project ended in pure tragedy when Nagisa died in childbirth and ushio died of illness at the age of five, leaving Tomoya devastated.
The story has just begun from here, ushio‘s soul with the obsession to save his mother to the different world, become the messenger of the different world, that is, the story of the beginning of the girl in tje other world, and because of some reasons ushio forgot everything about the town before his death. Soon Tomoya's spirit also travels to the otherworld (presumably to death from grief) and takes possession of a robot made by ushio(viewers should notice that it is similar to the robot tomoya gave ushio in episode 18). Tomoya, also oblivious to the town, begins to accompany ushio in the otherworld.
In the story, it can be seen that the robot often recalled the small town life, saying that it was a very, very warm place, so the robot began to try to take the girl away from the lonely world.
At the end of the story, the girl fell to the snow. The girl, whose body was about to collapse, recalled the life in the town and told the robot how to save her mother -- to find and collect the light left in the different worlds.
Through the power of the emissary of another world friends also began in the town of each world line constantly reincarnation, in the game as different branches, after clearance will get light jade. In the academy, Tomoya collected Nagisa, Fuko,Kotomi, kiyo, riyo, Tomoyo, Sunohara siblings, yokine, Misae‘s light jade for the second time After entering the After Story, and the furukawa couple, Yoshio couple, ushio, and his father's light jade .The 13 light jade represent 13 feelings, and the magic power of light jade saves the town, which has lost its vitality, and also saves Nagisa, whos life and the town are connected.
So in the end, after we finishing it for the third time, Nagisa does not die, the other world merges with the town, and the sky is filled with light jade (presumably). At the end of episode 22, Ushio from another world overloverlap with ushio growing up again in the town, and the story ends perfectly.
Due to the limited space of the TV version, the recurring plot was naturally deleted, and various branches were combined together. The development of the story was carried out simultaneously with the collection of lights, which is the number of lights constantly refreshed at the beginning of the series. After ushio’s death, light jade is collected and Nagisa is resurrected naturally, similar to the effect of time travel. So this is definitely not Tomoya's dream. If Tomoya had not gathered kodama in samsara, Nagisa would not have been resurrected, and the story would still be tragic.

Along with the ova episodes there's a recap episode (episode 24). Do watch that one too. Though I think you probably already have lol. It adds something important that'll help answer some questions you have.

I would just like to point out a cool detail in Clannad season 1 episode 22 Nagisa is explaining how the ending of the girl and the robot play and says:
Nagisa: The Girl and the doll decide to leave that world because the doll knows there is a warmer livelier world far away
Tomoya: And then what happened?
Nagisa: They set out on a long, long journey and at the end... They sing.
Now if you skip to 10:48 on your reaction to this video :) what happens?
