2021-10-19 16:19:46 +0000 UTCThe filler arc after this is the Chuunin Exams that took place before Naruto came back to the village. It's actually a pretty decent arc so maybe that's one to potentially watch after you finish the series. Also, the manga ended between episodes 385 and 386, so the filler here is not to avoid catching up to the source material because it was over at this point in the anime. I'm pretty sure the reason why they keep doing filler beyond this point is that they knew they were creating a Boruto anime and didn't want a gap in the air date between the 2 series and there wasn't.
