Everything in the episode actually happened, the attack titan can send memories to the past from the future. You remember Eren Kruger talking about Mikasa & Armin despite not knowing who they are? Eren can send memories to the past lol. Basically this episode is showing us that Eren isnt the "Good Guy" everyone think he is. Though he never been that good to begin with honestly. I would watch it again just to take everything in.
