Also, if the quick was so great the way it is now, they would have beaten Nekoma in the practice matches in season 1, and they would have beaten Seijoh as well. The plan for this training camp is for the team to get stronger, and Hinata was literally the ONLY person on the team to give a suggestion as to how they could get stronger.

Hinata is not afraid to just say what's on his mind, and the rest of team was too afraid to say that they ALL needed to change. They are playing PRACTICE matches, and Hinata's growth as a player is being stunted by the team because they are having him only be Kagayama's "iron club". Hinata realizes they CANNOT win with the quick the way it is now, and he knows that means his usefulness to the team is extremely limited. Kagayama, Sugawara, and the coach are all setters, so they, of course, can't understand where Hinata, a spiker, is coming from, and it's sad to see all 3 dismiss him like that when he's only trying to help the team.
