I really like the op and ed for this anime. I was hooked at first, but the last part of the anime got butchered (due to going further than the manga like GoT), I'd suggest to watch it up and then read the manga to have an idea of what this really is. The pitch of the Claymore organisation is that they are humans infecte with the demons' blood, allowing them to have great strength and special powers, at the cost of risking to loose control an turning into demons themselves.
