Carson, it’s studio Bones. Budget isn’t a question. Honestly budget is rarely a factor. It’s almost always time and talent. They just have their most talented animators on this show and since it’s seasonal, they have the time to make pretty much every episode look amazing. Like with pretty much any seasonal series. It’s not the budget to attribute this to. It’s the talent behind it. Studio Bones also animates MHA which is their biggest series currently. And while MHA also looks great, this is their best animated series for sure. The better talent is on this series. So instead of asking about budget, you should ask about who the animators are behind this series. Take Boruto for example, it’s not a seasonal series. That’s why the animation can be inconsistent and not always the best. They frequently outsource episodes to smaller sub studios of studio Pierrot (the main studio that’s behind all of the amazingly animated episodes of Boruto and the studio that animated Naruto and Bleach. Naruto and Bleach rarely got outsourced so they were much more consistent with art and animation and they were also weekly long running). Boruto not being seasonal and being weekly long running, they don’t have the time to make every episode look great nor do they have their best talent on them all the time. Bleach now, will likely have consistently great animation with this final arc coming bc they have their best talent on there, and they have the time since they’re splitting it into separate cours. So it’ll basically have seasonal quality
