BOLDcast Patreon Update for January 2023!

We want to start the new year off right. To do that we've decided to make two changes to our Patreon tiers. One coming tomorrow, and one that will roll out over the course of January.

• $10 𝕾𝖙𝖚𝖉𝖊𝖓𝖙 𝕮𝖔𝖚𝖓𝖈𝖎𝖑 Tier: Uncuts will go from 1 week ahead, to 4 weeks ahead.
  You guys have been so patient for our struggles over the last year that we want to start trying to pay that back. So over the last couple months we've been posting REDACTED Uncuts in a big batch at the top of the month. To explain, this wasn't written anywhere, so it's natural that many people were confused. In the Tier description, we always promised simply Uncut Reactions without even committing to posting them a week ahead because we were afraid of letting people down. Eventually, we started posting Uncuts at the top of the week for all currently posting series on the channel. Then eventually, 2-3 months ago, we began posting these batches Monthly, letting the $5 Scouts Tier eventually catch up by the end. The rationale behind this was that, since you are essentially promised a certain number of episodes over the course of the month, and since we are so ahead on watching, We might as well just give you all of those videos at once and let you decide how quickly you want to watch them. And also, from a business-model-perspective, this provided even more value to you guys who pledge on the 1st of the month, since you'll be getting things earliest.
  Well judging from the poll we ran a couple days ago, and from the drop in monthly patrons, we can see that that is not everyone's favourite way to receive things. But we still felt bad just keeping things at one week, since you guys have supported us so much. So you will still be getting one last big monthly batch at the start of this month, and then each subsequent week will continue with Uncut uploads on Sundays from that point on!
• $5 𝑴𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝑶𝒇 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒔 Tier: Edits will be posted 2 weeks ahead instead of 1 week ahead (Starting officially on February 1st)
  Not as exciting and mind-blowing as the first one, we know (lol), since we're not ready to roll it out at this time. Over the course of January, Carson will be working to bring the tier from 1 week ahead on edits to 2 weeks ahead. That may happen early in January, but it will happen by the END of January.

Which leads us to 3 very important notes that we want to end on:
Thank you so much for everything over this past year, we're so sorry that we've taken you all for granted, and we promise that we will do everything in our power to make sure it doesn't happen again.

This last year has been the hardest year of our lives, for reasons we're still not ready to get into, but having you all stick around and support us this past year has been unbelievable. We don't know what we would have done if you guys hadn't stood by us when we needed you. Things would have been much worse. This job is everything we have ever wanted and more, as hard as it can be sometimes.  We hope these changes are just the beginning, and that we can bring much more this year. We've talked a lot about wanting to start other channels, stream more, more more more... But we want you to know that your commitment to us comes first.

We know that we haven't been dependable to stick to the schedule for a long time. When we started our Patreon during the initial stages of Covid, the channel was everything we had and we put everything into it like our lives depended on it, because they did. Like we said we couldn't have done this without you. But as other things crept into our lives, and as real life took a turn for the worse, we let the burden fall on you guys. Edits and Uncut posts late. We went from posting a Movie/OVA reaction per week to never. From an exclusive stream on the last Friday of every month, to almost never. Streams went from 2 days a week to 2 streams a month max. We used to always try to keep between 3-6 shows going at once on Patreon so you guys would always have something even if one thing you liked slowed down or finished. But by the end of 2022 we were only posting a single show on our Patreon, and even when we were, the posts were often late.

We so often talk about things we want to do for the future, but when we do we're always careful not to promise things, because we're afraid to create an expectation that we can't fulfil. We're still afraid that we'll falter, but all the same, from this point on we PROMISE that there will be no more late posts. If we fall behind, that burden will fall rightfully on us, rather than onto you all who pay money for our content. Just as it was when we started all of this in the first place. And we won't use anything else on the channel as an excuse for not giving you what you paid for. This is the bottom line.

Once again, thank you for everything you've given us, we apologize for all that we've taken for granted, and we promise that we'll do everything we possibly can to keep that from becoming a habit this time around.  See you all in the new year.
