ya I always thought it was odd that he didn't put the fight in there. I have no issues with expanding on it at all. But the conclusion we get is kinda weak. The only thing in the manga we get from when the clones appear till they show that the fight was over was a couple lines from Negi and Guy. Guys says something about it being a tough fight. The others just have panting written in their panels Negi says HMPH lol. In any case aside from Guy the rest seemed to not have much of an issue defeating theirs. If ya want to check it out its chapter 277 in the manga.

However if they are going to be adding filler Id probably prefer that fight to a crap ton of flashbacks and the characters just staring at each other with the wind sound effect over top

2020-12-09 07:59:16 +0000 UTCAt this point in the fight its been about 5 minutes since Naruto skidadled and started chasing after Gara. The ability to stretch less than a 10 minute fight into almost 2 hours is nuts lol. As for my thoughts on the fight with Guys team least the little bit that has been shown thus far. This is one fight that they chose to expand on compared to manga. Just poor execution and doing so. If ya'll didn't know this fight was off screen in the manga, so it's by all means a canon fight but yeah poorly animated, well lazily animated would be a better statement. Once that fight reaches an conclusion I will point out the other major issue with it lol.
