Can't remember if that scene with orochimaru and the nine tails is in the manga. Its been Idk 15 years or so since I read that chapter. I do remember when watching this episode and the next few that they managed to get like 4 episodes out of 2 chapters or some shit. Pretty sure soon as Naruto and the other rats jumped out is when he went 3 tails. I don't remember him going 1 tails first but maybe. This arc gets a bad rap cause of the choices made here with extra content that we get. It kinda ruins the flow a bit.
