2020-12-29 21:38:04 +0000 UTCYeah, this arc is the worst when it comes to stretching material out, but thankfully it's the last time for a few hundred episodes. Everyone complains about the filler arcs in this show but it was only due to having 85 episodes of filler at the end of Naruto that the first arc in Shippuden was able to be adapted so well, but by the time they started adapting this arc they caught up too close so they had to go back to dragging everything out. After this arc, the show gets into a really good groove of 25 filler episodes followed by 25 episodes of the main story which does wonders for the pacing of the episodes.
