And now...

Scooby Doo OPs (1969 - 2019)

Comments

Didnt even knew u guys had reactions to scooby do op's :)) I'm only 4 years late. Also recommend Mystery Incorporated if u ever get to it, mostly cuz the style of overarching mystery plot is perfect for the long type of discussions u guys are good at.

Black Snow

For sure mystery incorporated is probably the only scooby doo that had a continous plot and storyarches that crossed multiple seasons with a pretty serious tone

Charlie baker

Yeah that's what a lot of people seem to be saying about mystery incorporated! Might actually have to check that out at some point

BOLDcast

I've watched all of them and Mystery Incorporated is my favorite lol. Had an overarching plot/mystery that covered two seasons and it had a lot of callbacks to classic Scooby-Doo movies and series. It's probably the longest running series that I know of lol (1969). I used to watch a lot of Gundam and even though it's old it only started in 1979

EDWIN FRANCOIS

Its always kind of interesting when a series gets a reboot every few years or so and goes on for so long that it just becomes a thing that most people know about and can remember watching as a kid even if it wasn't the exact same version of the show.

BOLDcast

Yeah that's what I've heard. idk about some of those other ones though.

BOLDcast

Agreed

Here in the Netherlands Scooby Doo was a thing, I'm 24 now but when I was younger the movies were kind of big. However my mom always used to say she knew it from her youth as well. I'm not sure which shows aired here and which didn't, I am sure that people knew about Scooby Doo tho

Friedsheep .

Wow, 1969 what a year. That is same year that "Sazae-san " started.

Kaz

Mystery Incorporated is actually pretty good; unlike other Scooby Doo shows there is an actual plot, but it was cancelled unfortunately.
