Update for Made In Abyss
Added 2021-03-01 00:55:56 +0000 UTCHi everyone, as some of you already know that we have decided we will not be posting our reactions for Made In Abyss. We are sorry to those of you who were looking forward to this but we watched about half of it but did not like the show and did not feel comfortable finishing it or posting our reactions for it. This was also disappointing to us, especially Carson because he had been wanting to watch it for a very long time. We are currently working on other videos and have some new shows planned for reactions in the near future that we hope you will be able to enjoy instead. We hope that you can all understand and know that we want to make the best quality content for you all but also need to do what is best for us because if we are not enjoying what we are watching its not a good experience for anyone.

It wasn't an easy one to make because obviously we don't want to disappoint people but we figured it would be better to just cut our losses and move on to something we are truly enjoying so that we can put out high quality videos rather than just cringing about everything and then giving a sub par review of something we aren't invested in. We gave it a fair shot and watched more than we would have if we weren't doing it for the channel but in the end decided that it wasn't worth it and the videos were no good. Like you said it is painful to watch a reaction where the person reacting isn't having a good time and is forcing themselves to watch the show.

2021-03-01 05:12:12 +0000 UTCWe basically just never got fully invested and were very off put by how every single bit of humor or comedic moments in the show were only based off of naked children or violating their privacy (ex constant talk of or looking to see what is in Regs pants) Just seemed weird to us and like it was out of place in the show. In the end that along with just being not crazy about the story made us decide to stop.

If the first half made you uncomfortable than it was definitely smart to stop there because the end of the second half gets way more heavy and uncomfortable. If you give more details on what you didn't like about it it'll help us better guess what your tastes are

I read the manga to get to the good stuff after the anime and there was only like 4 good chapters that i liked. Hopefully yall pick some heat shows yall like so we can get some good content

I respect you guys though, always coming through with great reactions and very insightful commentary. I'll always tell this to anyone, if you don't enjoy watching a show, or if you can't contain yourself and continously cringe, then just stop and watch something else. I hate watching reactions where the reactors are practically just forcing themselves to watch a show. At that point it just becomes unbearable as a viewer watching the reactions. A recent example was with Redo of Healer. This one YouTuber who does reactions that I watch a lot decided to watch that anime because everyone was telling her to watch it. She ended up not liking it and was cringing badly at many scenes and not really providing any constructive criticism to the point that I couldn't watch anymore. In the end they did drop it though.
