"Good" and "bad" is too relative, specially when most people can't be consistent about how they rate shows they watch. They will often call two shows "bad" (let's say someone who called this one "bad" also calls EX-ARM "bad"), but when you ask them to compare both, they actually think one is clearly way better than the other. And also, someone else's concept of "bad" may differ from your own as well. When you think about that, "good" and "bad" don't mean much. In any case, I think we can all agree Supercell/EGOIST is awesome. They made so f***ing many anisongs, and I love all of them kk

You can sometimes tell when you're watching an original animation versus an anime adapted from another source. I definitely did like this anime. Last time I saw it was like 10+ years ago, so maybe I'll have a different opinion of it if I watch it again? I was watching this weekly when it came out. I feel this anime could have delivered much better if it had gotten a longer runtime. At least 52 episodes it needed. Like Eureka 7. If the story of Eureka 7 was condensed into 24 episodes, it wouldn't be the anime we know and love today. There was definitely a shift in the anime industry back then that just kept creeping up slowly and slowly. They started prioritizing shorter anime series, 12 to 24 eps max. A lot of shows not getting a second season, and etc. I personally do enjoy longer running anime that can take its time telling its story and not feel rushed. Of course not every long running anime will be good or to everyone's interest. It all depends on what appeals to people more.

After the show ended they decided to continue and did Psychopass All four songs were written and composed by Ryo who composes both groups Supercell and Egoist .
