I think madara said he didn’t attack the village 16 years ago because the 9 tails incident ultimately sealed the Uchiha clan’s fate. They weren’t trusted. If he told sasuke he did it then sasuke would have turned some of his vengeance on him as well. Remember sasuke didn’t originally believed him and said that madara laid false blame on the Uchiha clan and teamed up with itachi. So by saying that he wasn’t involved in the 9 tails attack was a real strategic move. Tell 100 truths and 1 lie

Naruto's final line to Tendo Pain is supposed to be a direct quote from Jiraiya's first novel where the main character encounters the Fuuma shinobi. Previous dubbing in the Jiraiya Gaiden read the line as "Give up, huh? Yeah, about that," which isn't entirely too inaccurate since the original line is "Give up on making me give up." They most likely phrased it this way in order for the line to flow better with the lip flaps. It's unfortunate that a small change like this makes people miss the fact that Naruto quotes from Jiraiya in order to finish off Pain.
