What are the odds that Tendo pain missed the opportunity to kill Hinata from such a short distance, literally from a point-blank range? Don't you think that Tendo pain intentionally didn't kill Hinata? I think that Nagato understood perfectly the pain Naruto comprehended till that point and that's why he decided not to cause any more pain. Nagato didn't go easy on the others because the others were from an era when they only had mistrust and suspicion to the other villages and they were believing in the same idea which is to protect their own village by any means necessary; they never thought about the peace across all the villages. That's why Nagato didn't intend to kill any teenagers directly (e.g., Ino was there right there beside Shizune. Pain never tried to attack her.) That's just my thought. Wanted to share it with you guys. By the way, you guys are awesome.

Yes the scroll was to summon them so the clones won't be in danger at the battlefield. Naruto said last episode that the ninetails disrupted his chakra and made him lose his last clone in Mt Myoboku, so that was just him standing still gathering nature energy after he talked with his dad.

The clone Sage chakra didn't transfered to him, Naruto got into Sage Mode by himself when he is at the mini moon. Kishimoto probably didn't want to waste a few panels of him gathering chakra again because he assume we know he can gather chakra anywhere anytime. And yea, Madara is a liar.
