2021-06-15 19:52:29 +0000 UTCFor 212, regarding Karin at the Chunin exams, its not cut content. Its a retcon. Kishimoto wanted to give more backstory to Karin. Plus the fan base loved her. More than any female character other than Tsunade and Kushina. This is where Orochimaru found Karin. She was an "interesting test subject"

2021-06-15 19:03:09 +0000 UTCDanzo's story is really interesting. At least in Naruto, there are no "moohoohaahaa" type evil for evil sake villains. Same goes with the good guys.. All the characters exist in a scale of grays. And I am including all of Naruto heroes and villains even the future ones. The same is less true of the Boruto manga. Danzo is another example, of a character who was turned into a child soldier by necessity. The shinobi world is a world of kill or be killed. And for a long time Danzo and Hiruzen held a balance. Its almost as if the lack of war after the 3rd Shinobi war ended made them both finally snap to a degree. Danzo fell to far into the darkness and Hiruzen stopped looking there (which is why he let Orochimaru go instead of killing him and why he didn't do more for Naruto, he tried badly to balance the villagers against Naruto. This is btw, the interesting thing as you follow Naruto's character through all 700 issues /500 episodes. Will he break like all the others. Lindsey had several times noticed some of that going on with Naruto. The hero's journey is an interesting concept. Naruto as a series is one of the top examples of a hero truly taking everyone's burden on him.
