2021-09-07 06:53:05 +0000 UTC345 is one of the moments the dubs audio really shines . The sub doesn't add sound for obito turning the ninja to pulp with his fist while the dub adds all the squelch and crunch noises it works super well to unnerve the viewer

Its very hard to tell if Araki didnt think of it or didnt want to do it since he is not a big supporter of fanservice in his writing. He hates being restricted which is why he created the parts to break up stories. Hell, its pretty rare when characters cross over between parts. But i 100% agree with young joseph being such a cool way to end the fight, but araki was making bank off of jotaro at this time in Japan so he gives Jotaro most of the love. Only one more unenjoyable part 3 arc in my opinion. so close to dio :)

SO then any cool or interesting twist cant really take place, its just the most obvious fuckups on behalf of the mc that lead to the most obvious dramatic misstep. When the solution to the problem is so simple and just requires a shred of doubt and urgency (urgency that he SHOULD have btw since he literally watches his best friend commit suicide in front of him). It seems like the author is just taking the easiest way out everytime by making takemichi conveniently dumber and less-concerned that anyone in the audience. Even if he is supposed to be dumb, nobody is THAT dumb

Its just really hard to ignore our hate for how dumb takemichi is because he just doesnt think AT ALL. give him all the time in the world to come up with a plan and he's spend it doing puzzles and thinking about how to bang his 12 year old gf (daily reminder that he's a canonical pedo). You could literally give him a year to come up with a plan on how to save Draken, and I'm confident he would have done the exact same thing.

2021-09-03 22:52:09 +0000 UTCthe consensus is that Takemitchy is a gigantic imbecile and coward. These are definitely intentional flaws the author has given the MC. If the story had followed a more competent character then situations would definitely be resolved a lot more efficiently and with more success, but since Takemitchy is is Takemitchy you're always tryna figure out "how is he going to resolve this". If you don't like the story because of the MC that's fair enough, but know that Takemitchy's stupidity is intentional.

Obito and Madara's voices are awesome, I'm especially happy you like Obito's dub voice since it seems a lot of people don't, but I think it's perfect. It like, is very tormented and you can still hear the echoes of who this person once was, if that makes sense. Also, there's still another OP before Silhouette. It's a forgettable one imo but hopefully by that point Silhouette won't be *as* spoilery as you're fearing. I remember this reveal when the manga was coming out, it was the first time Naruto was trending no. 1 on twitter and all the naruto forum sites crashed 😂
