And I also agree about Jun Maeda, however I still contend that he needs a strict time limit/episode count in order to produce his best work. When he's left to his own devices, he flounders until the end. but he ALWAYS finishes super strong. (minus TDIBAG)

Also, I think Tomoya telling Akio about stopping the construction of the hospital was Tomoya thinking the change in the city is what's causing him such hardship. Tomoya hates change and he himself hasn't changed that much which is why Sunohara tells him that he's still the same as always. It's subtle and incredibly well written. In my opinion, this is Jun Maeda's best work writing wise
