Naruto Shippuden Ep. 364 :(

Comments

This moment was a pretty nasty hit in this war thus far. Rip all our ninja's who have fallen.

Not even gonna lie, Neji gets the same treatment as Brian from family guy when he died, ainโ€™t nobody was talking about him until he died

The post episode discussion for this episode is so fire. Hope we get more hour long discussions on arcs like the pain one! ๐Ÿ‘

I understand the meaing behind it! but it just doesn't hit hard like Jiraiya or Itachi (not ven close)! ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ it's just felt forced...

People who talk about Neji's wasted potential, keep in mind that Shippuden didn't capitalize on any of the promising 12 genin from part 1 (except for Shikamaru and maaaybe Choji). At least Neji died a hero, it's not a wasted potential compared to Rock Lee who was a literal anime ICON in early 2000s because of part 1 and they did absolutely fuckall with him in Shippuden. Now that's a wasted potential if u ask me, compared to that, Neji's character was very well used. I'd take dead Neji over living filler character rock lee, shino or any other "promising" character from part one. Neji's death has a HUGE meaning which both Lindsay and Carson talked about and I'm sure they understand it's definitely not a waste,. Allied shinobi forces are literally fighting against people who're trying to take away everyone's free will and Neji's life and death is absolutely the answer for Obito's conundrum so it's on point and very well done. If anybody else had died instead of Neji, the message wouldn't be the same.

Agreed. One of many reasons why so many, including myself, think this is by far the worst arc in Naruto and Shippuden.

Emm, you know, saying that the way Hinata defended Naruto was stupid is the same as saying that the way Neji defended Hinata was stupid..

Literally the embodiment of wasted potential. In part 1 in was hailed as a genius. Having the Byakugan made you strong. In part 2 in was the only of his generation to become Jonin. It's like when Kishimoto gave Neji a full redemption arc/character that was the end of his story in the spotlight, same with Lee. I haven't seen potential this wasted since Kimimaro

7:51 Carson know already what's coming... :( and I wasn't sad to see Neji killed off but I felt more pissed that he couldn't do anything is Shippuden and Kisimoto wasted his potential... and have a Hinata&Naruto moment here which I can agree with it a bit but dammit Kisimoto WHYYY?? plus he had 1 fight which didn't even happened in the manga... it was filler fight!! -.- it's still sad but.. whatever! P.S I can't wait to see the next episode is gonna be another GOOD one! :)

I will always hate Hinata as a character precisely because of this episode. At the end of the episode, Neji died a minute ago, but she thinks about what a BIG, strong and comfortable hand Naruto has. What? This is the maximum disrespect, it feels like she didn't care about Neji, who died for her, initially. The only person in the world that she worries about is Naruto, despite the fact that Naruto himself puts Hinata somewhere on a par with Kiba, at least at the moment in the series. Also, the moment with Naruto's defense is so stupid, why did Hinata just cover him with her body, did not try to repel the attack or do something else.

I think I speak for many that Neji's death was bad in the sense that he basically died for Naruto and Hinata to hold hands. Neji was a character with tremendous potential that was never used and whose death served to catapult a couple that was not developed when it was due.

Talk about rubbing it in your face, jesus christ Obito.

Ahh it's that episode (idk if I'm talking about the right one but the sad emoji and the number make me think that's it)
