She is doing so much to be supportive and give him the space he wants with april and the neglect is getting to her. I feel awful for her Tbh.

2024-12-19 15:53:16 +0000 UTCYeah you have to remember Lorelai had Rory at 16, so when Rory turned 16 in season 1, Lorelai was 32. Now Rory is 21 or 22 so Lorelai should be 37 or 38 as she confirmed! PS the most boring state is probably North Dakota, not South Dakota. South Dakota has all the badlands and the Mt Rushmore shit. I would say maybe Montana but it's too gorgeous out there to be bored. Ohio might be pretty boring too but you can bet yer ass it's not wisconsin which is where i live! we love beer and cheese, it's true.

2024-12-18 22:18:32 +0000 UTCWell, her expressing her needs and how she feels does not mean she would "push" him though....she is not even trying to talk to him, and I think the two situations are not really very similar. Also, when she told him about her doubts (probably the only time so far), during their Valentine's weekend away, he reassured her, so there was some openness there.

2024-12-18 22:10:36 +0000 UTCI’m going to come to Lorelai’s defense here a little. Yes, she needs to communicate with Luke. But last season, she pushed Luke to talk. Luke wanted space. She continued to push and he broke up with her, and she was very much not ok. So right now, she’s just existing in this awful status quo, afraid to rock the boat.
